Really funny to see the statistics! I am 49 years old, in the 大叔 group attracted by your videos, and those are just the kind of people that your channel is attracting... I have kids to raise, but also in some sort of "middle age crisis", trying too couple with all the needs and challenges and at the same time trying to get some fun from the daily life. It is interesting to see what people like me are coupling with the life in this stage. Struggling to keep the income in the competitive job market, keep the aging body fit, keep having some fun, trying to know what is going on all around the world... All those sort of things. The 大叔 kind may feel difficult to communicate from the heart to others as others may usually see them as serious and boring especially in Taiwan since people have the habit of hiding feelings. You can make a really an inspiring difference by showing how you couple with all this... not easy to be an youtuber, so thanks for your work!

It's cool that you are so open about the revenue that you're getting from RUclips. I think people often don't really have an idea of just how many work hours it takes to film and edit a video, the hefty cost of a camera, lens and mic and the time taken to scout locations or get props if needed. Props to you for doing what you do!

It's great to watch this introduction video about the income of youtubers. It's quite difficult to get matching rewards even the times watch are 10-100K level. I like your videos and hope you can become more popular to earn more money to buy some toys for William!

Hey Allan, thank you for sharing this. I’ve made several videos over the past year in Taiwan, and was really confused at why some videos with less views made more ad revenue than videos with more views. Turns out even though they were getting less views, it had more Americans watching it! I made a video recently that hit 80k+ views about taiwan and it only made like $30usd. Considering it takes 15 hours to make a video, I’m making like $2 an hour. I’m almost considering just turning off my ads just so my audience have a better viewing experience! Anyway, thanks for making this video and clearing up some of my suspicions. Hope we can collaborate some day!
