  • As part of its Black History Month celebration, Foothill College hosts a one-night-only performance by world-renowned Dallas Black Dance Theatre in the Smithwick Theater. A reception follows the performance in the college's Campus Center.
    A contemporary modern dance company, DBDT's professional dancers perform a mixed repertory of modern, jazz, ethnic and spiritual works by nationally and internationally renowned choreographers. Company dancers have studied, trained and performed with some of the preeminent performers and teachers in American dance. Founded in 1976, the troupe's mission is to provide dance opportunities for minorities and bridge cultures through performance and educational programs that reach diverse communities.

    $25, general;
    $20, student with ID; and
    Group rates are available.
