City fan here, well done Wolves for not parking the bus and having a good go and sticking to your principles. Our first penalty wasn't a pen in a million years, you were so unlucky with that and it gave City confidence after that to built on. You have some real quality players and should be higher in the tale, good luck for the last few games and next season 👍
Just totally outclassed today. First penalty was contentious but doesn’t mask the performance. Looking forward to end of the season and a summer rebuild. There’s some definite areas for improvements
Absolutely agree Men against Boys really we hardly got out of our half we had player's back but nowhere near 100% fit but we have no depth in our squad Can't blame any of the goals on Sa but still made some great stops I didn't think the 1st was a Pen as the Ref wasn't going to give it until the City player's surrounded him But apart from that we were well beat against the best team in the World We kept going till the end but we are way off City and the summer is going to be a big time for GON and who we bring in next Season.
Just shows the difference in class they didn’t even get out of first gear ,first pen never a pen but it wasn’t going to make any diff ,good goal by us ,they could can put another 11 out and would prob be same result ,there are some better teams coming up next season ,I worry for us next season unless we spend some cash ,and also who goes ,
First pen is definetly a penalty by the rulebook. There can absolutely be non-punishable contact in that situation after the shot if the Wolves player had pulled out and Gvardiol just completed his move into him. But instead, Gvardiol is beeing kicked. That is not allowed on purpose or not.
As strong as Arsenal are right now, I can't see Man City not winning the rest of their 3 or 4 fixtures. I got no complaints about yesterday, except the first pen was NOT a penalty but with Attwell in VAR i didnt expect it not to be one. But we also know if that was at the other end it would not have been a penalty which makes it more annoying. I don't like it when we get smashed but man city way stronger than us obviously. Just hoping we end our home season with a win vs Palace next Saturday. FWAW!
Does anyone seriously believe if that first penalty incident had been at the other end in city's box, the ref would have given it? No, of course not. Therefore, by my reckoning , it should only have been 4-1!
Disappointed, how can that first penalty be given, it should have been a free kick to Wolves. The City player went into Ryan Al Norri, the ref caved into the City players.
Men against boys I’m afraid. We were only 2 of our main players not available, Dawson and Neto, so we can’t really use that as a excuse, just we got beat by the best team in the league, and I really hope they beat Arsenal to being champions.🐺
I'm afraid when a collision in football results in a penalty, the game is in serious trouble now! Basically, it has to be declared a non-contact sport like netball. As for Wolves, when we sit on the coach waving the white flag, keep sulking about injuries, then it's time to pack up and forget it. It's no fluke Man City play the way they do. It's down to being exceptionally coached during the week and a manager who demands every last bit out of the squad on match day! Love Gary Oneil to bits, and he's done well from a terrible hand he was played just two days before the season started, but is he really going to advance the club to winning things??? When we as fans can honestly be happy at achieving a 10th to 14th finish and a cup win away at the wankers down the road it sums up our ambition! I think football is pretty much finished and as for next season not only will we get highly corrupt decisions well have the benefit of listening to how the corrupt decision has been manipulated with running commentary between the referee and sad VAR! What a state the game has become... Entertainment value is zero when the outcome of the game is pretty much known before the teams take to the field. Come on, Arsenal, please take the title and not the plastic blue moon brigade.
As a City fan i was happy enough with the result, but we are not playing at the fluent level that we once were ....Wolves scored a good 2nd half goal, and had a spell in the first half where they raised their game a bit and put some passes togethet, but the final two City goals really knocked the stuffing out of them ..... thats five goals in two games for Haaland, and that 4th goal of his today was quite some finish. Arsenal are maintaining the fight, but we now face tough games at both Fulham and Spurs, in addition to the final game at the Etihad against West Ham ... so we should have a better idea of who is gonna win this title after those fixtures are completed.
Nah Harry, it is was always going to be a thumping today. Shitty are way too dominant and all it's just becoming boring. With the bottom three also effectively decided today, the entire remainder of PL season is one big yawn again.
Would you bet everything you own on City winning the league? Of course not. Nor would I, and I'm a City fan. It's still very close. Nothing has been decided yet, and for City and Arsenal fans, the rest of the season is definitely not a big yawn.
@@Pwecko All the bookies are offering is 3-1 on, which with 2 games to go is hardly tight. Basically, it's all over bar the shouting and already dull, dull, dull. (But do feel free to enjoy the shouting.)
First penalty was an awful moment and that killed the game. The two City players reaction was disgraceful and that's why he gave it. Second was a cleverly won penalty no argument. In the end its City, so scoring was a bonus. Plus we did our part for the season earlier in the year. Could hear the wolves fans far more on the TV audio so we'll done to them!
I am surprised that so many are saying one or both were not penalties. According to the rulebook, they are both CLEARLY fouls. The only circumstance were there can be non-punishable contact after gvardiols shot, is if the wolves player is pulling out and gvardiol is finishing his movement into the Wolves player. But Instead, Gvardiol gets kicked. It does not matter if it is on purpose or not.
The game of football is not fair & true. Ref's, PGMOL, SKY TV, are controlling the results of our beautiful game ! How can Mike Dean be rewarded by SKY SPORTS, who have given him a throne to sit on ... for admitting himself he has wrongly influenced the result of a game. We can't enjoy football anymore. 🧡🖤 PS Harry, football should be renamed to VARBALL !
No complaints. City were very impressive without really having to get out of 2nd gear. The way they sliced us open I’m grateful it was only 5 haha

Expected!
we were totally outclassed but also our own worst enemies today.apart from a good finish from Hwang there was little to be positive about.

Next season get Jimenez on free transfer could do worse I hope so 3:13
We need to sell
And build a squad
Not a team , a SQUAD

And their boys gave our men a damn good thrashing unfortunately

GON made it tough by playing a left back at right back. Both were penalties. But of course Harry blames the officials 😂
