I have to say how much i appreciate that you let your guests talk, Caroline. They’re visibly comfortable in your presence, not just because you’re their friend, but also because you don’t interrupt, they’re able to talk at their own pace and deliver the most information.

Your passion for good skin care which then leads to a higher level of self esteem means you truly care about the client. This is rare in a time when these massive companies like Estee Lauder continue to "swallow up" as many cosmetic brands as possible. Money making is the goal, so you see how L'Oreal's new products are almost double the price of average drugstore products.
I just went to Josh's website and there is a place that sells his products just ten minutes away from my house. I have a Birthday coming soon... makes getting older more exciting than dreaded.
I also want to compliment you on the people you surround yourself with. It takes a special person who is a wonderful friend to have friends. Everytime I see a picture of you with a friend, they have their arms around you, or in this picture, May has her hand on your arm. This genuine care for each other cannot be faked. Your channel is such a treasure.

I love when she is always grabbing products from all her perfectly labeled clear drawers. Her videos are where I heard about you.... she just raved about your skin care knowledge, and she was CORRECT!
Caroline, when I found you, through a segment on PixiWoo, I immediately started to look into some of the products you talked about and took the plunge to try out a brand you love. They are not cheap, they are natural and they work. I take care of myself and when I started to see my skin go from very good to great I subscribed to your channel.
This man and the ethos of those you have recently been interviewing and raving about will make an appearance in my skin routine as I love everything they stand for and think it is time to try them out. Thank you highlighting good brands and natural brands that are excellent. Continued success.

Hi Caroline!
I have been lurking around your website and youtube videos for a number of years, never commenting, but faithfully following. Honestly, I am so thankful that I stumbled on to your blog. Following your advice has helped me turn my skin around. From the age of 12 onward, for over a decade, I experienced the most awful acne. It was cystic, angry and always one right after covering my forehead and both sides of my face (i.e. only a 1/4 was clear). The dermatologists I saw were useless (and SUPER expensive) - the importance of a non-stripping cleanser was never explained, nor that I should use a chemical exfoliation, how I should be hydrating my skin properly or even using sunscreen daily!!! It got so bad that I ended up doing three courses of Accutane in three years. The acne would disappear while I was taking the medicine and I'd have perfect skin for about 3 months, then come back with a vengeance when the chemicals left my system. Truly, I was at my wits end. So I started doing my own research online. Reading blogs, just exploring the online skincare scene and eventually stumbled on your website. I read your cheat sheets and decided - what else have I got to lose?
Fast forward a couple of years, my skin still isn't perfect due to my lifestyle (late nights, stress, diet), but I no longer have inflamed skin or a face full of acne. I still experience the odd breakout, but I also have periods of time where my skin is flawless. As you so accurately pointed out, self confidence and self esteem is tied into how we look, and it is without a doubt that my improved skin has everything to do with my improved confidence. So thank you. Thank you for being amazing and sharing your knowledge freely. Please keep doing what you're doing. Not sure if you'll even see this, but after watching the video and you said the reason that you, Stephanie Nicole and people like you do what you do is for that one message saying you helped - I wanted to let you know that yes, you have had the most amazing positive impact.
In conclusion, to this much longer message than I intended, and which you may or may not see, I hope you keep on making cracking videos for a very long time and imparting sage skincare advice so that we the masses can find our way to good and healthy skin in spite of all the bad doctors and crappy skincare marketing there is today. And again, thank you. :)

Josh!!! Pls know I adore you. I’m on my 4th bottle of hydrating accelerator, doesn’t leave skin greasy and it’s my most purchased skincare item. It’s amazing!!! Josh can you make a larger size though? The ingredient list is mind blowing.

The Hydrating Accelerator is the lushest mist I have ever used.
Mari Svensson on 4th bottle. Only mist that doesn’t leave my skin greasy. Love that it’s an aloe base and not full of glycerin. I do like it better than Hydrate mist. I fully respect both Josh and Jordan.

Thank you for a great interview! I love JR's Day cream SPF. I use it as my primary SPF every morning. I also love how everyone is so eloquent and speaks so well about what they do and really represents their passion so well. I've been really enjoying these interviews. Btw, you can get Max and Me at Cap Beauty in New York and in their online store, Beautyhabit and pretty much most green beauty stores. They also make wonderful oils for the body and face. Truly amazing experience and healing products.

Hmm I’m really humbled by his knowledge, kindness and integrity! I have been using mainly “corporate” and “cosmeceuticals” skincare products. Although I have tried and liked some green brands(May, Mun, Vintners daughter, Tata Harper), I always find their products much harder to understand, like their formulas are not “well marketed/documented actives in a blank chemical base” so I don’t know what to expect from them other than the experience.🤔 But I guess I should put away some bias trained by corporations like “if it doesn’t absorb right away it’s not penetrating” and maybe try some simpler and more caring skincare routine.

Hi, Caroline! I have a lot of staples in my skincare which I've come across thanks to your blog but I've been having such a difficult time trying to find a good moisturizer for my skin. (30 y/o, using tretinoin, oily skin) Now I'm trying to decide between Josh's Vital Balm, DCL's peptide plus or January Labs's moisture balancing lotion... any thoughts?

Tracy I use the entire YTTP line and love it for my 56 YO sensitive acne-prone skin. Gentle, fragrance-free, silicone-free products that work well with the Differin gel I use to manage acne. Just got a subscription to Cureolgy for Tretinoin and Azelic Acid and need gentle products to work with these prescription topicals. The YTTP mask is so good at removing flaky skin when gently wiped off with a baby washcloth.

I've actually started looking for products without SLS. Its irritating my lips and causing brown spots on my lips. Luckily I'm brown and I have been able to cover, but I found my lip balm wasn't helping (Baume de Rose). From toothpaste to anything that goes on my face...culling! Crazy, because I was using good stuff.
Hello Caroline. My question is unrelated to this video so apologies. I’ve just watched a video where you say it’s better to apply tretinoin little and often rather than every two to three nights using a large amount. Could you please explain how much a “little” is and where you have read this? I am currently trying to incorporate tretinoin into my nighttime skincare routine, but keep reading different advice. The nurse who prescribed it me also advised me to apply it little but often.
Anthony Parkinson She now advocates using a lower strength often, over using a stronger strength every few days. Not the quantity, but the strength. Hope this helps.
Literally a pea sized amount of the product, spread all over your face. I’ve been using it for four years now. If you use it like this, once the peel period is over, you should see great results.
