It's been a long time since I've posted those guide videos and I've been uploading some random stuff, so I thought you guys might have left or forgotten about me. But don't get me wrong you are all welcome guests in this channel and I'm very happy to see you again. There has been changes in Barrage Arti since the last update, which is August 2022 in KR. It has got a lot of QOL elements and the damage source is even more focused in barrage damage than before. Which is a good thing usually, but for Arti main like me, who also plays 7 Arti's it was kind of frustrating. Because lvl 10 gems are hella expensive in KR just like yours, but if you have played the game long enough, and have stable in-game income, they are kind of affordable. But after the update, those expensive gems are proven meaningless except Barrage damage gem and CDR gem for flamethrower and gravity explosion. I want to invest more to my main, hopefully 'shareable' investments so that my alts could benefit from it too, but with the 'dominant' build it does not work that way. There are some other things that I dislike about current build, like how all the eggs are in one basket and it is kind of unstable(Barrage mode), but I won't bore you with details. I want to make it very clear that the dominant setup [Grudge-KBW-AoA-Barrage-(Adre or CD or HM) spec crit salvation] is probably the best setup for most players considering average outcome and cost. But as above I have special condition about alts and stuff, so I came up with an idea which is using lvl 1 barrage to reduce crit chance gap from each skills, since 333331 is the most popular setup in KR. I want to use many high level gems and make them worth it, I want to use as many tripods as possible, and I want to get strong awakening damage by using as many engravings that work for awakening as possible. So my build is Grudge-KBW-Adre-CD-HM-Barrage 1 spec crit hallucination. By getting Barrage lvl 1, the crit chance gap between Barrage skills and normal skills is now 20% instead of 40%, and I need hallucination for decent crit chance. My normal skills are much stronger with decent crit chance since most of the engravings work for them. Sure I've lost some Barrage damage and attack speed but my awakening have good damage and crit chance. This new setup might have slightly less 'theoretical' dps from the dominant setup but it is a lot less risky since now eggs are in seperate baskets. I use 5 strongest dps skills which is homing barrage, air raids, multiple rocket, high-pressure bomb, turret. I have both damage and CDR gems for these 5 skills, and plus one gem for barrage damage, my gem setup is very effective. Not efficient but effective. But now in order to do that, I had to get rid of energy field, which was a scary idea but I figured all I had to do is to be more cautious than before. This is the video of me playing with those setups and it is very unique build that probably not many people would follow. I honestly don't really recommend it to fellow Arti players unless you have special condition and frustration against the dominant setup just like me. Personally this reminds me of old-school Spec Arti build, or it feels like hybrid build of Firepower and Barrage. Very fun and rewarding to play. Anyway, this is the build explanation for this video.
