Since they Can't ADS, an LMG will work wonders in their hands for normal scav waves. But for when the bosses come around, their absurdly high recoil control and hipfire, as well as abundance of scrap on later waves, leaves us with one Fix. _Dual A.M.J's_ The downside? You'll be hogging all the Short Ammo, which is why i recommend pulling these out when things hairy. But if you can get it... The AA12 This thing, is a monster, a meatgrinder. A Man-Muncher. This thing prints death certificates like the U.S Goverment prints money. It also takes shells, which are in far less demand than other weapons.
Riskrunner can use any gun besides Snipers with 0 issues whatsoever. LMGs are preferable, but that goes for any gun-oriented perk. somehow never thought of dual-wielding AJMs, or even using them at all... thanks for the idea AA-12. the GOAT. the myth. the legend. the runsaver. absolutely EATS THROUGH SCAVS like it's nothing, especially with some recoil control and half-decent hipfire accuracy. i bet it also works wonders with Sovereign, as long as you actually hex scavs before mowing down an entire horde.

Pan Man: 1500 (1875 effective) Yosef: 1000 (1250 effective) Sledge Queen: 1200 (1500 effective) Sickler: 700 HP So yeah, these things can dish out some MAJOR damage. If the wiki's HP numbers are correct, then these things can kill most bosses in less than a second. Gonna need to test somethings out. I will get back to you once i have the info.
@@memes_the_dna_of_the_soul5487 never doubt the sheer DPS of dual AJMs, nor their ability to round all your Artillerist's short ammo to 0 in a few seconds. also, yeah the wiki's HP counts are all correct, i'm pretty sure, though you missed a small issue with Bucketman: he's completely immune to headshots. just because i have nothing better to do with my life, i'll do the 2nd grade math: 20 bodyshot damage, 2224 rounds per minute or 37.07 rounds per second with both AJMs, so 741dps. x0.75 for firearm resistance, and you have exactly 556dps against Bucketman. you'd kill him in 3 seconds, but it would cost you 94 short ammo (rounded everything up to avoid headaches), basically impossible to rack up even with good luck and an Artillerist. something else to consider is the reload time. in most cases, 2 full AJMs can kill even Sledgequeen if you land all headshots (you won't because she'll block them, but it's nothing some Dynamite cant compensate), but Bucketman is a MONSTER, you'll have to reload 3 times before he dies, and that's a lot of downtime between bursts.

I got around wave 50 (duo) trying to do this but gave up on the cultist wave cuz the enemies kept moving around in circles or getting stuck in random places and the fabricators broke but it was still fun 👍

This is Holdout/Last Strandeds mode, not normal DW. You can play it if you go to your private server and type "/startholdout" It's technically infinite, unlike the original gamemode... you'll still probably die on waves 30 or 40 while solo, maybe even earlier if you're not used to Holdout.
I genuinely hope there will be another update (prob not) where if you get to night 50 or 80 a secret will spawn that will summon a final right or something like night 11 but your actually escaping Eden while fighting.
there is a "oh the misery wave" that has a chance to happen at any boss wave. its just the enemies are the bad business and use the bad business as their weapon.
it depends a lot. the later the boss wave shows up, the harder it'll be, since enemies will show up from more and more directions. a wave 10 Misery will only spawn those fucking DEMONS from 2 directions at once. meanwhile, on wave 70, they'll come from ALL 6 directions. if your early RNG has been good, getting it on wave 10 would be nicer since you'd get the hardest boss wave out right from the start. or, if the game's feeling particularly Decaying Winter-y, getting it later would be preferable so you actually have items to fight back.
The farthest I've ever gotten on holdout was 30, I was running riskrunner so you can expect the reason I died was because of running out of ammo (ps: it was a solo run)
