Tua locks onto his first read and can't make plays with legs. Can't play in cold weather and is undersized and injury prone. He's not the guy
@@sionesione956 how can there be proof of this if we can’t plug in these qbs at will. This is a dumb comment. We can go through 20 names if ya want. Mahomes, burrow, Lamar, Allen, Herbert, Rodgers, Lawrence, stroud, purdy, Murray, Stafford, Goff, love, dak, hurts, cousins. Ok not 20. I named 16 for sure. Are we arguing any of these qbs would thrive in that offensive system with those weapons??
A wise man once said," If you don't know where you are going no one will take you there".
Father time is Undefeated! 😮
It’s not a mystery what Miami is. Their health come playoff time is the only mystery…
Just like every other NFL team. Injuries are part of the game. Problem is Tua can't elevate his teammates
Rich Eisen needs to surround himself with smarter sports people. This Brockman character is like 90% of sports fans out there that don’t have the faintest idea how “team sports” work.
“He won a playoff game!”. No, idiot, the Packers won a playoff game because they played like the better TEAM. On both sides of the ball and on ST’s.
An individual player doesn’t win Superbowl’s. Or playoff games. Teams do. While QB is the most important offensive position because they touch the ball every single play - they can’t overcome poor defense, special teams, coaching, or subpar offensive line play. It doesn’t matter how good the QB is or isn’t.
You and I know that, but Brockman is a Pats fan, and to prop up Brady as the GOAT you basically have to swallow and regurgitate the idea that "QB wins" is a real stat.
That's so true. If you don't mind I may quote you on that.
I don't know, but I know of another guy who had 2 of the worst tackles in football last year (one led the league in penalties and each could barely block anyone) and his receivers led the league is dropped passes, and he still won the Super Bowl. I'm not naming names, but just sayin'.
@@junehanzawa5165The guy who played behind the #1 pass block win rate O-Line in the league and 56.5% more yardage in YAC than via air yards, while posting a 49.1 passer rating on throws of 20+ yards?
@smudgeous4068 plus had the #1 rated defense. Nope Mahomes did it all by himself. KC had the same record as Miami at the end of the regular season.
They had a 3 game lead with 5 left and BLEW IT...14 PT LEAD with a little over 3 mins left against Titans AND LOST...THAT game cost them dearly and they limped to the end
Everyone now likes to forget people were all upset about Flores getting fired. All because the color of his skin. They sure didn't care about Tua. Think it's fair to say they made the right decision. Flores wasn't ever going to be that guy as a coach.
Rich wants to have Tua's kids!😂😂😂
Looool Brockman stays salty. You'd love Tua as NE's QB
Bad audio on this. Constant feedback whistle noise
Flores lost his wallet multiple times out in south beach and asked random people for $. Facts.
I’m taking Love over Tua any day. Love played his first full season and played better than a lot of people expected him to. Tua needed a lot of help to look good. Packers also played good against good teams, Miami folded under pressure every time they played a team with a winning record.
Fins had devastating injuries on the offensive line, d line and linebackers
Tua’s little brother was at Seahawks camp 😂
I have NO idea why Rich E. keeps 'talking-up' Tua, and here he goes again! Tua is and always will be a second-rate QB, like a Tyler Murray, like a Wentz, like a now defunct Russ Wilson.
Imagine paying Tua 53 mil a year with Josh Allen in the division making 10 mil less 😂
Imagine having zero idea how contracts and the market works 😂
@@ZGh0st1422 it’s not that hard to figure out man. Tua got that much because that’s the going rate nowadays. My point still stands. They are paying more for a lesser player 🙄
@@ZGh0st1422 Ok, so….What is your point exactly?
@@dirtyrandy2592 my point is you don’t understand how contracts work, is english difficult for you or something?
@@ZGh0st1422 I understand English, You’ve said that a few times now, but you don’t have a point that I can see. What don’t I know about that makes me incorrect?
Stop calling me dumb and educate me lol
Tua does not have a strong arm. That is one problem. He cannot throw in cold weather. That is another problem. He is not a durable QB. That's strike three. The Dolphins are paying an extremely flawed QB, max money. There will be no improvement because his issues will never change. Weak arm, can't throw in the cold, and not durable. The Dolphins are done.
And he's undersided
Shut up Chris it was a HISTORICALLY cold game in Kansas City that the league said no team will ever play in again. Easy to talk like that from a warm studio.
Tua is .500 against teams above .500 and has a winning record against Super Bowl coachespeople have a funny way of forming stats
Mark Sanchez won 4 so … yeaaah. Leave it to a Pats fan to think that’s what justifies guys getting paid. 🤦♂️
“Worth if for the Miami Dolphins” LOL
Lol and these people are paid for writing the titles.
If Miami stays healthy. It’s SB or bust
They won't make the playoffs that remedial offense been figured out
@@toddtollfree5659y’all said that last year too and they were still the number 1 offense in the nfl. It’s like a broken record when y’all try using your brains 😂
Well it's going to be bust because there's no way they're beating Kansas City unless mahomes gets hurt and this is coming from a huge Miami fan for 53 years
@@jameswesterman9283 disagree. they kept up with us last year not the other way around. Don’t forget. We were ahead. We need to “finish” like we start.. so. Back to what I said. If we healthy. We win. Last year we got
Unhealthy. Lost the afc lead. Didnt get a home playoff game. Nobody wants to play in south Florida against these Mfers in December…. Nobody..
@@ZGh0st1422 play little sisters of the poor but when you played ruff riders the dolphins folded up like a cheap lawn chair
Rich is casually mentioning concussions as if playing a season without incident makes the problem with Tua magically disappear. They are cumulative and if Tua gets another one he will be lucky to stay in the game at all much less contend for a super bowl.
Tua, Last 2yrs top 5 in EVERY QB STAT, Love won a playoff game in the NFC big deal.
Top 5 in stats but not even a top 10 qb lmao. Make it make sense plz
@@leisurelife5331 Stats don't lie, But your bias will blind you
Except playoff wins....
@@73ajd1if you think wins are a qb stat, might as well just stop watching sports now
@@ZGh0st1422 F your narrative. Wins are the only stat that matters.
We don't need the next Marino, we need the Next Griese ............ I prefer winners .
This whole “debate” is preposterous to me. They don’t need to win the Super Bowl. Use your brains, do you have any, of course they were gonna pay him it’s a business, and you want a competent QB. Only one team wins it all any given year ya’lll are trippin. I’m not saying they can’t win but use your brains.
Oline needs to hold up and just be average, and can we please not get 3 torn Ligaments again this year!
I don't know if Tua is worth it but I do think it's worth hiring an editor older than 12 to review you titles for Grade 3 English...
Hawk Tua is wild 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️
Hoth is a Planet!!!!! Not a moon!!!! Okay, I’m going to focus back on football…
Definitely not worth it. The Bucs only gave Baker 100mil essentially. They would have traded him. Trade Tua for Baker and give Baker his same deal, you have a tougher QB with a bigger arm to air it long to your speedy receivers, plus McDaniels has to know Baker has at least as good of a football IQ and can work in his system given his time at the Rams.
When it first started my dumb a** really thought it was something about Tua and hawk. Like he got a pet hawk or he got a mohawk that looked weird on him.
I dont get people who love Mike McDaniel, that clip was painful to listen to
He's really good against bad teams. What's his stats against teams with winning records ? Looking at just those games. Tua is mediocre.
Dude is trying to copy McAfees style of podcast but doesn’t have anywhere near the same energy. Lol he’s basically whispering here
That was funny
Tua is criticized for losing a playoff game on the road in 0 degree weather with literally d line men signed off the streets to start a playoff game to the eventual Super Bowl champion lol who beat Allen and Lamar at their house on the way to the Super Bowl
Miami Dolphins #1 17-0 52 years.
"only player to lose two playoff games" while not playing in one is LUDICROUS to say out loud and not sound like an idiot
Or if Tua got drafted to the SeaHawks
