It's the leadership being primarily focused on how to make things more addictive and marketable instead of on any creative aspect of game design. It's the divide between the developers who suffer through the crunch culture cause they have to feed themselves vs talent who have a good idea and find a way to break away in an indie game. It's that the predatory microtransactions are always accompanied by toxic, unfulfilling work environments that punish creativity and initiative
I would have added something to do with pre-order bundle fomo, as that's playing a big role, too. Like they are getting easy money from preorders, and still publishers force out undercooked games. Also, yeah, Helldivers 2 meta-hawks are annoying. A good balance in party dynamics is good, and always the first rule should be "have fun" when gaming. Excluding griefers and the like.
@@CyberBean I guess so. I think reason for me not having played one is the steep price tag. 70€ for one game is a big commitement, while a lot of indie games are really cheap, more in the range of 5-20€.
Calling the studios behind gollum and kong triple A is such a stretch. Why exaggerate? You don’t need to reach that far for examples of Triple A games being trash.

gta 6 is either gonna be a savior or a flop.
Definitely I really hope that it becomes the game we need
Great video :).
I’m gonna flick my own little cyberbean right over to the sub button :)
glad this was in my recommended :)
Wait this only has 92 views? Good video though, I think RUclips is showing it to people too
I think I've never played a AAA game lol. But I have been hearing about some of these games being quite bad/buggy a lot lately.
It's really sad because most AAA games used to be really good
