I have eczema on my hands too. I developed it a few years ago. It just started coming every summer. It started on my arms scratching makes it worse. Aloe plant dries it out and Eucerine cream. It's thick but it works don't need too much apply it as needed.
I'm so excited you posted this video. Your sister is my hair twin and I've been wanting locs for a long time. It's great to see this and get an idea of what it might be like for me. Please please continue to document her journey. 😊
I love the result of you using the Herbal Pro. I have faux locs, and I don’t want me hair to loc, though it may eventually. My hair is really thick, I am curious if I can actually retwist with the Herbal Pro as well? I’m not sure if it will hold for my hair, and look clean. I am trying to find something that will work, and is easy to rinse out. Thank you!
Hey I've had good results shampooing my low porosity hair with diluted castile soap & I was hoping you could give me a stylist's guideline on a safe ratio to use - 4 parts water to one part castile soap? Or what would you recommend? I'd really appreciate your response 🙂
I personally just eye it. Definitely majority water to castile soap. I make adjustments as necessary like you saw it the live stream. It wasn't cleansing as well in the beginning so I increased the concentration of the soap in my solution.
What is another good shampoo to use on locs? I am 7 months on my loc journey and because of the pandemic I can’t really go out and get it done like I want to so my aunt has to do it at home and I want to make sure that I keep it clean and healthy at home.
I’m sure you have thought of this, but why not have someone else wash the hair and you only style the hair so you will not get your hands wet? I have been to some salons where they have a separate person wash the hair.
@@AfrikanHairGod my hair texture is really soft and I recently started using softee to retwist and I love it. It moisturizes and doesn't cause build up.
Also I hate that you have to quit doing hair. Pleas try the whole 30 diet. I can mail you my books if you’d like. It was the only diet that helped clear up everything (acne, eczema, texture bumps) I don’t generally like to tell ppl about their diets bc i don’t eat well but please try so you can keep going on with your passion.
Completely agree Deb! So many autoimmune issues can be suppressed by changing your diet. Doctors don't go to school to study how food heals our immune system. They go for medicine. So that's why people assume they have to live with diabetes, eczema, etc. I had a big bald patch in my crown about the size of Alia's. It kept getting bigger. After I gave up sugar, meat and started drinking more water, the inflammation went away and the patch of hair grew back in. So much of our illnesses can be healed through a whole food diet, anti stress, exercise, etc.
Quick PS Tuts I just don’t like to say anything bc it makes me a hypocrite and I don’t want to offend anybody...but Narada is breaking my heart, I’ve been following him since 2011
@@deb8911 It's really just the system. We're raised to trust doctors and believe them when they tell us we have to be on medicine or we have to live with these autoimmune diseases. There's no money in cures or prevention, so the system doesn't push it. So I understand why Narada and others aren't often aware. We just aren't taught to look at our diet. We're taught to chalk everything up to genetics. But things are changing. My doctor told my thyroid issue was genetics yet no one in my family has it. But once I changed my diet, that sudden "genetic" issue cleared up. You're not a hypocrite. Your'e human. I fall off my diet all the time but at least I now know I have control over my health. Blessings to you!
What The Kink thanks girl! I literally had to pray over it lol I didn’t want it to be received in a bad way. Just want people to know there’s always a solution. But it’s totally up to Narada. Changing a diet is not easy. He has to do what he thinks is best.
Smells do linger lmaooooo. My sister had a bday party for my niece. I came home smelling like weed and fish grease. I should've washed my locs and clothes AS SOON AS I GOT TF HOME🤣🤣🤣🤣. Love your sibling relationship! Question? What hair grease are you using? And do you still use the same grease in 2021?

The hair is still wet. I don't style natural hair dry
which do you think is better--natures blessing or the softee brand? is there a reason why you used softee for her hair?
I use them for different reasons nature's blessings is lighter and softee is heavier

Try putting baby powder in your gloves... It may help the gloves stay dry (don't know if BP will effect your eczema though)
miniimufin it causes cancer.
@@LucienneintheDreaming oh :o
he should try all purpose flour then :p
Someone sued Johnson Johnson because their baby powder caused them to get cancer. Smh. They won I believe.

Yes I do. It's softee hair grease. I use almost all of their varieties
Ok got it. I appreciate all that you do!
Have you tried nitrile gloves?
