As a friend of Rob Grill I can say I believe that he would be very impressed if he was still with us. I only knew him for the last ten years of his life and truly miss our conversations.
Your friend Rob would be impressed with what how close they came to not sounding like The Wrecking Crew why didn't your friend Rob Grill ever give credit to The Wrecking Crew in any of his interviews the goose that laid the golden tracks down for those guys they were just singers on those major hits Rob Grill wishes he could play the bass like Carol k
These guys actually did a great job it would have been amazing if Rob and his boys could have played it like this live they had to always lip sync to the original
Where did these days go ??? Just listen to the "Crap" they give us today. Now I now what Hell is like !! NO Auto Tune, NO Strobe lights and special effects. Just PURE Talent. O'h, what I wouldn't give to go back to those times. Air was clean and Sex was dirty !! >
" NO Strobe lights" No strobe lights? Are you kidding me? 🙂 In the 60s stobe lights were EVERYWHERE. Special effects was an overhead projector. And let's not forget about all the blacklights.
Pleasantly surprised....I thought was gonna be another lousy cover band that SURPRISINGLY these guy and girls are VERY GOOD! Rob and Rick would be proud!
One of the finest covers of this awesome song. The drums are a bit heavy compared to the original song but thats just an observation. Rob would be proud.
We play 6-10 shows a year, mostly large events and private parties. Thankfully we do have a strong local following built over the past 20 years that enables us to sell out a local mid-sized club a few times a year. That particular video came from a city-funded summer concert series at the large outdoor amphitheater. The summer series focuses purely on tribute and cover bands. There are multiple venues within 100 miles of us that book nothing but single band tribute and "showband" cover bands.

Sheer perfect devotion and...pure, vibrant musical skill - these dudes NAILED & gave rebirth to "Midnight Confessions!!!
This group should be on tour. Very impressive.
Very good job!
Outstanding!
Holy hannah that was fine! If I still had my baritone sax I'd have joined in, this song just has an urgency that makes you move. Great job!
Great Job!! Excellent vocals & excellent musicianship.
Great video you all did a great job, my ears say thank you.
Great job! Thanks for sharing.

A great effort! I think it would be very challenging to recreate this classic masterpiece to the standard seen here.
Really nice. Good work everyone!
Outstanding job!!
The horn section is absolutely the best I’ve seen on any cover of this song.
Love the energy of the band and they did a great job. But the audio needs some serious work.
January 1, 2024, 12:17 am listening to great music
Just one of those songs that never goes out of style. I was 15 and that's one older guy Rob Grill that I had a crush on.
Fantastic

Awsome guys ❤
Muchos saludos desde la ciudad de México
Well, you certainly have a full sound, no doubt about that. Curious how the band makes any money with so many members.

I had a two CD's that I totally wire lesson to them all the time.
They knocked this song out of the park
They knocked the life out of this song. Terrible.
Rock on!
Where's my 8 track player😊
Who are the band members now?
We are not the Grass Roots. Midnight Express is a Texas-based cover/tribute band.
FELICITACIONES A TODOS EXCELENTE TRABAJO...!!
Smokin Job
Not bad at all
Rob Grill would be rolling over in his grave. This is pretty bad.
