    Please reply @MagnetBrains

    Sir in the concept of equivalent rational numbers can we multiply (1/2)X(1/1) and say that 1/2 is equivalent to 1/2

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  Год назад +5

      Hi there! Great question! Yes, you are correct. When multiplying two equivalent rational numbers, the result will always be the same. In this case, (1/2)x(1/2) = 1/2.

    sir one question: is every rational number a whole number?

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  2 года назад +5

      Thank you for your question! The answer is no, not every rational number is a whole number. Rational numbers are numbers that can be written as a fraction, where the numerator and denominator are both integers (whole numbers). Whole numbers are integers that are greater than 0, so not all rational numbers are whole numbers.

    15:57 sir can a natural no. also be negative

    • @AarviChate
      @AarviChate Год назад

      No natural numbers are positive numbers

    • @ScienceByDeeba
      @ScienceByDeeba Год назад

      No, by definition, natural numbers are non-negative integers. Natural numbers start from 1 and go on infinitely: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so forth. They are used for counting and ordering.
      If you include zero along with the positive integers, you have the whole numbers (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ...), but natural numbers specifically exclude zero.
      So, natural numbers are always non-negative and do not include negative values. If you want to include negative numbers, you would use integers, which include both positive and negative whole numbers, as well as zero.

      You have to just devide it into three parts you can use compass or scale to do that and you have to divide that with denominator in this example sir has done with 3 if it was 6/2 so you have to divide the number line into two parts

      Hi there! It's great to hear that you are learning Maths from our website. The two playlists are indeed different, as one is from RD Sharma and the other from NCERT. RD Sharma is a book for more advanced Maths topics, while NCERT is a book for basic Maths topics. We hope this helps!
