Sir one doubt 35:22 (iii) Every rational number is an integers. My doubt is that in every integers number we can convert in rational numbers like -3=-3/1
51:31 ths numbers will always be represented in first part and sir how we will get to know that 8/5 and -8/5 will be represented in first part in no.line??
Thank you so muchhh for clearing this chapter... and to be honest you teach better than my school... all my doubts are cleared and I saw a lot of videos but this is the best oneee
Thank you so much for your question! In Example 2, we cancel the numbers because we are trying to find the lowest common denominator. If we cancel the numbers, it will be easier for us to find the lowest common denominator.
Hi there! Great question! Yes, you are correct. When multiplying two equivalent rational numbers, the result will always be the same. In this case, (1/2)x(1/2) = 1/2.
Thank you for your question! The answer is no, not every rational number is a whole number. Rational numbers are numbers that can be written as a fraction, where the numerator and denominator are both integers (whole numbers). Whole numbers are integers that are greater than 0, so not all rational numbers are whole numbers.
No, by definition, natural numbers are non-negative integers. Natural numbers start from 1 and go on infinitely: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so forth. They are used for counting and ordering. If you include zero along with the positive integers, you have the whole numbers (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ...), but natural numbers specifically exclude zero. So, natural numbers are always non-negative and do not include negative values. If you want to include negative numbers, you would use integers, which include both positive and negative whole numbers, as well as zero.

You have to just devide it into three parts you can use compass or scale to do that and you have to divide that with denominator in this example sir has done with 3 if it was 6/2 so you have to divide the number line into two parts
