If you based character MU based on top 1 win rate you would assume GL was actually overpowered. Pre buff Darkrai worst MU was 54% winrate and that’s against GIO. Versus GL actual bad MUs his worst winrate is STILL above 70%!!!!

Yea they're the most extreme versions of their particular space advantage in the game. It's also really bad for Holdlewis to get in, although in fairness drone is kinda op rn for that.
Isn't that supposed to be how it works? Have great tools to zone people out but if they get in you're limited? That combined with goldlewis being a monster when he gets in exacerbates it
Problem is goldlewid has to get in, so its pretty balanced
Axl 2k is on of the best mash options against gl in the game and he has a reversal super, he has relatively strong options compared to others

Definitely a newer player thing. It takes some time and skill before you watch a "lame" character or playstyle before you start to appreciate what goes into it. You may always think it's boring and annoying which is perfectly fine, but a balanced zoner definitely isn't cheap
That's the point. He's supposed to be lame, annoying, boring, etc so you can frustrate your opponent into being aggressive and getting hit
