    Dear Professor Gilbert Strang,
I thank you for your marvelous introduction to Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations. It truly filled me with joy seeing it explained again. Please keep on teaching man. I really do enjoy these videos. I don't attend MIT. However, seeing your videos allows me to truly grasp the concepts being anywhere around the world. I'm sure you've touched the minds of many individuals and helped them all. I thank you. They thank you. We all do. Have a blessed day/night. Godspeed and may the Math Gods protect you.

I’ve done diff eq and linear algebra as two separate courses. As an Engineer I wish I would have seen more instances where my instructors tied the material we were learning to the real world,l. That’s not to say I don’t have a tremendous amount of respect for my professors but I really like the introduction to this video with the way he says there will be topics of application for what the course covers.

Currently taking my first ever DE course and I’m four weeks in already kind of lost, everything went and progressed so fast. I was planning on giving up and dropping the class but then I woke and decided to bring myself to a level of better understanding with this topic. I know I may not understand it all still but it won’t hurt to try. That’s why I’m watching these videos to better learn since I know class notes and homework is not going to be enough
