Sneakers Release - Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC to Chicago” Black/Powder Blue/Gym Red Women’s and Kids’ Basketball Shoe
As Jordan unveils more of its 2020 All-Star collection, the brand’s exclusive releases continue to focus on Michael Jordan’s impact on the Chicago Bulls and the Windy City as a whole. The last time the NBA All-Star game was in Chicago was in 1988 when MJ was named MVP and won the slam dunk contest with one of the most iconic dunks in competition history.
On February 14, Jordan is rolling out its “UNC to Chicago” Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG release. Dark Powder Blue, Gym Red, white and black come together in a tribute to His Airness’ college days at UNC and his dynasty with the Chicago Bulls. This “Mommy and me” launch releases in women’s, infant, toddler and preschool kids’ sizes.
Originally designed in 1985 by Peter Moore, the AJ 1 Retros perfectly balance style with performance. The shoe’s high top retro silhouette includes a full-grain leather upper that gets a style boost from a Bulls-inspired Gym Red toe box peppered with breathable perforations.
Powder Blue Nike Swooshes feature on the sides of the shoe, giving way to a Powder Blue heel and back. A fully encapsulated Air-Sole unit and red solid rubber cupsole offer ultimate underfoot comfort. The outsole also includes an OG concentric traction pattern and flex grooves for a durable grip on the paint or the playground.
Other key details packed into the women’s and kids’ AJ 1 Retro include the oversized padded collar, plush sock liner and signature Jordan branding. The tongue’s Nike Air branding is in Gym Red, while the original “Wings” logo comes dressed in black.
Throughout his college career and his time in the NBA, Michael Jordan inspired generations of athletes and sneakerheads with his cutting-edge style and performance footwear. WAY LATE to the party but I just picked up my 3rd pair of these. Have traded them twice in past and always regretted it. These are super dope and always get compliments. The quality on these is on point!! I wish all my 1s had this leather!!! Cannot believe these prices are still so low for these and never went up much. @@heskicks Yeah it is 15.5 is a 14 and 16.5 is a 15.. I feel these were supposed to be in mens anyway its basically a Fearless 1 but leather..This was one of the Allstar kicks I really wanted glad I got it.. Hell and got the United 3s for 150 from the plug.. And the Chi's are restocking I love it.

It is slightly different. My pair is shorter in the back than my men's Jordan 1's. Same thing with my Womens Satin 1's
Womens AJ1's tend to be slightly shorter than mens, but wms "unc to chi", are the same height as mens AJ1's "Breds" 2013.

I was thinking the same, i'm gonna remove the inner swoosh and put the off white lettering with a stencil i bought, also gonna add the "AIR" on the midsole, might even strip the stitching on the wings logo like the other off whites

Most definitely, just compare to the "Top 3", from 2016. I'm a us: 8, and they go for €5-600, on Stockx today. "Unc to Chi", wms, I'd suggest to hold on to them for 2-4 years. Patience is everything.👍

Better strike while the irons hot. If you hold too long everyone that was looking for a pair will have already copped and a new hyped pair of Jordan’s will be dropping before you know it killing the hype on these. Just my opinion.
I’d either plan to hold for a while to see if price goes up or try to sell locally to avoid paying fees. If you have to pay fees you will basically break even.
Hold year or two from now they’ll be worth a lot more these aren’t no turbo greens or metallics they got bred hits and the unc heel they’ll forsure go up

I just tried copping the UNC 3s this morning from Hibbett and couldn’t even checkout since it wouldn’t take my billing info. Luckily, I was able to get my pair from Eastbay. Too much of a hassle trying to support Hibbett.

no, aj1s that are made of leather all stretch to the feet after wearing in. go half or a full size if you have extremely wide feet. but honestly they are not as narrow as other newer Nike shoes

Hes Kicks I am being Honest these shoes were a big disappointment for me I 100% felt the difference between this pair and a normal mens pair I got my pair from stock x so I’m pretty sure they were legit toe box felt smaller and shoe did not sit right on feet
