By all means, use your fingers. I use mine for everything. They are some of the best artist's tools I own. You have way more control with them for things like this. Thank you for sharing. I love this.

In my opinion it doesn't matter what other think about using your hands, if that's what works for you. I use my hands in everything. It's the art that matters. I love what you do & so happy you share it. 🙂❤️

I believe the secret of your success alone; is that you never, ever(!)bore us! Different Styles/Techniques/Products etc used~in conjunction with simple, explanatory script, that anyone can follow. Plus, your beautiful gentle verbalisation,
(prevents me....... from continuously re-winding to listen far too often to catch any sentence!!).

the crinkling tissue resembles an impasto effect giving the viewer the impression you spent hours, even days, creating the effect. well done!
Very Beautiful! I enjoy your thinking out of the box, using different materials and incorporating them in textures and in your work. I love the glue and how you give your work more dimentions!
I used this method many years ago to refurbish a coffee table/ The top looked like antique leather when I finished. It was a very large square table with carvings on the sides. The legs and carvings were painted with a burgundy rose color and the top edging was painted with a gold stripe around the beveled edge. The top got painted with sponges in shades of brown and touches of black with spatters in these same colors as well as very light touches of
gold. Everyone thought it was truly antique leather. I wish I had a picture to show you because it was incredible!

I was so glad to see someone else using this technique! It is so wonderful to get a 3-D effect! I have been painting with oils on a "raised surface" for many years now! You are the first person I've found doing it! However I've been using different materials

I used to decorate cakes, and the tips would often dry out if i would set them down and not use it for too long. Especially the Royal Icing that hardens. I started using a damp cloth to cover the tips when not in use, and it worked great. I'm sure it would work with your texture paste, too.
That's a great idea! I often put them in a jar or put a bit of cello tape on the end to stop them drying out. Some of them keep for weeks! 💕

I love to do the tissue paper hack but I do it much easier by wrinkling up the tissue paper, then laying it down on the base. Wahlah you have all the crinkling done. This came out magnificent! Tfs🤗👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🐾🐈⬛🐾

I have just started to watch you create. Your ability to think of alternative ways to utilize products and combine techniques is inspiring. I have returned (from "pouring") to more intentional art forms. Back to the kind of textured abstract pieces I did for yrs...before jumping onto the pouring bandwagon. You illustrate how the creative artists, with vision, can create the kinds of artwork that will be respected for something far beyond a lucky pour. I have seen breathtaking pouring techniques...but RUclips artist that will endure have to have as many colors in their skills as they actually put on canvases. You may very well be one of the artists that have those true artistic talents. I am going to be keeping an eye on you. 😉😂😂 I would love to share a couple of my pieces. What is the best way to do that? I don't drop my work into someone else's posts.
