It was the stand out performance and it should’ve won. Eurovision needs to reflect on that and they need to address the fairness factor. It’s not the first time this has happened. 😮
Voyager are the greatest act 2023 and I am sure without this stupid Finland-Sweden battle Australia could have be in the Top Three. Many people have been commenting on Australian pages that they are sorry now not to vote Australia but they had to vote either Finland or Sweden, they're nasty and stupid. I vote only my favorite.
As proud as I am as a Finn for our Käärijä I still gotta say Voyager was my absolute favorite entry out of all. Then again, Iceland's announcement of 12 points for Australia almost makes up for that! 🤣
They didnt deserve to be there based on the live performance. Flat vocals, obvious non playing of instruments and dad joke choreography. The viewer vote was correct. Over generous maybe.
@@Boss-gd2ij Well everybody is entitled to their own musical preference and opinion. To me the whole essence of the Eurovision Song Contest was lost many years ago. I grew up with it. We had an orchestra, director and artist(s). You had to sing the language of your country, you could not use well known singers etc. So for me Finland is close to the charter of the Eurovision. The fact we know already all songs way before and seen it a few times takes away from charm. Australia and Israel should not even be in it. The final was already decided based on the nr of streams on Spotify.

@@Boss-gd2ij ABBA won in 1974, so that would make it 49 years according to my calculations. I can remember them winning like it was yesterday. One the few who became something out of Eurovision. But it was ultimately Australia who really put ABBA on the world map. Ironic isn't it.

This deserved at LEAST a top 5. There is alot of shite recently in Eurovision rendering epic entries bigger points. This is both public and jury tallies. It's been quite fishy for a while.
It's really cool to see all the cameras moving because on the livestream they timed everything so well that I didn't see a single camera on screen.
