I am 62 and have been a minimalist for years, it was easy for me to see the logic in this as I have moved often in my life. This video has inspired me to go clean out my closet of anything I don’t wear anymore!

I buy almost nothing, so my parents decided there is something wrong with me and gave me more stuff

Its funny that you said that the driving force behind adapting minimalism in your life is to 'get rich'. Is that still the case? How is it working for you?

Recently started my own minimalism journey and I totally agree - it’s so freeing to let go of things you no longer need. And SAME! It’s also hurtful to throw away everything and think of the money wasted 😭 fab video. New subscriber ☺️

What are your thoughts on spending money on materialistic products vs. on making memories? Like going on a trip/vacation with friends vs. buying latest tech gadget/expensive clothing... I feel that there's nothing wrong in spending money but make it worthwhile. thoughts?

I didnt see any sentimental items, besides the graduation cap, is that not something you keep or just don't count?

Great video. I’ve discovered minimalism myself. I agree with you on how money and material possessions don’t bring happiness.

    i like that u said
    - u feel even better when. u get rid of stuff
    - that when u have stuff u have to take care of it
    - that the feeling doesnt last when u buy stuff itll last like a week
    - its faster to clean ur room
    - not feeling tied down

I discovered your channel yesterday and I have watched many of your videos. Though there are things I can't relate to, you know, different countries, different lifestyle! I still connect to the insights you give and the theme of it. Subscribed!

Have you read ikigai? The book? I only started when I moved to Dubai and lived in a shoebox for a while.
