Doesn't matter if ur on a bike or scooter, just use common sense and don't be a idiot, then there r certain bike rules u don't have to follow. The even bigger problems is so many pedestrians don't look, i would bet u more than half those accidents were pedestrians not looking and automatically blamed on cyclists because there's no proof. u would know if u rode a bike or anything similar.

Can everyone decide for themselves in New York whether or not to act on it? The police don't seem to care either? I enjoy your videos. I'm surprised you list your editing and computer equipment - it seems there wouldn't be a need to edit or render your videos - IF you can get the audio into the GoPro. Over time your audio has really improved on your videos. Good job!!

Yes, I could hurt someone but I don't. In NYC, it's common practice and the social norm for cyclists and scooter riders to go through red lights if there is no risk of a collision.

I could try looking at the cable tension. The squeaking doesn't affect the functionality of the scooter though.

It might have to do with the tension on the cables. The squeaking on the disc brakes don't affect the functionality of the scooter though.
