It legitimately baffles my mind
As a former sweat tryhard i can tell you they do that is because there is nothing more important for them than not getting killed by other player. They do not see it as pathetic. They actually proud of their performance

The person was.) showed up and launched a missile at me, which i dodged. The toreador seemed to be focusing on my friend, so I came up their back and threw a sticky bomb, but the toreador only blew up on the second. Then the guy got out and pulled a missile launcher. I kept running them over until he activated no ragdoll and killed me, then left. But still, a toreador defeated by a golf...
