Thanks for this video I’m getting ready to buy AT and wire it myself.

Ok power to the fuse box. Then the yellow and red together on the hot side of your fuse box. Ok now how is the sonar powered up? How is the sonar power is its power cable sliced somewhere? The ethernet cable gives the sonar unit the FFS info right which comes off the AT module so do you do anything with the yellow wire on the AT or just use the red and black?

Sonar is connected to fuse block also. (Red and black)
On the active target black box:
      Yellow and red tied together.
(Make sure you use a battery cutoff switch)

@shortdecorte So the red and yellow from the AT are twisted together a connector placed on them and wired to the red side of the Fuze block. Is that correct?

Im currently installing AT and a new elite fs9 to bow and pretty much doing the same setup running 8gauge wire from dedicated lithium battery to fuse block in right side locker next to AT black box. I have the factory fuse holder on power wires for graph and the AT box plus the fuse in the fuse block. Wires from battery go to perco cutoff switch back by battery then up to fuse block. Curious What would be the need for the 30amp breaker your have installed?

It was overkill. You don’t need it.
At that time i just wanted something closer to the battery to protect it from shorting.
      I’m goin to remove mine.

May i ask what exact fuse block you’re using? Also, why switch to 10gauge from block to your unit?

The distance run is short to the graph so using 8awg is overkill. The gauge of wire is determined by length of run.

Question. Is there constant power to your AT even when your depth finder is turned off?
I just got AT and am considering the same dedicated battery for mine.
I'm trying to figure out how to wire it. Like your set up but was thinking about maybe wiring a Perko switch to power the AT box?
    Any thoughts?
p.s. I'm not an electrical genius by any stretch of the imagination. Lol

I have a battery cut-off switch that cuts the power on/off to my AT unit and my HDS Live. The AT2 black box is wired to my dedicated fuse block. The HDS is also wired to that same dedicated fuse block.
Wire the AT black box’s (red and yellow) wires together to have constant power.
If you want to be able to turn off your AT black box but still use your front HDS unit.. you can:
      1. pull the fuse at the fuse block.
      2. Run a switch on the yellow wire.

Hey, sorry if I'm bothering you but have another ?. I see you wired the red and yellow wire on the AT box together. Excuse my ignorance, but what happens to the yellow wire coming from the HDS unit? What do you do with it?
I'm getting ready to do this when my battery arrives and I don't want to make a mistake
      Thanks

iMO: Don’t even bother with the yellow wire coming off the HDS unit. That’s usually to connect to your black box so your black box will turn on when your unit turns on, and it will turn off when you turn off the unit. Lowrance had to put out an update to even have that work correctly.
Majority of people just wire it the way I wired it in this video to keep it simple.

Thanks, I kind of thought that was the deal. Thought maybe the Ethernet cord sent the info to the head unit.
      Appreciate it.
