Great how to video! The ability to lift the seat bottom to access the rear-facing belt path made this installation so much easier and by far the most secure. I initially scoffed at the price but it ended up being worth every penny. I put tgis in our Subaru Crosstrek, back seat access is tight compared to our SUV. This seat also has a robust feel to it.
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat.
Good question, how do you make it longer? Some car seats have a nice clear button you click on. I didn’t see on your video how to make it looser to make it easier for you to get the child in.
for the directional video on graco youtube channel they don’t yank out the plastic piece from the anchor latch that you did in this video. will that cause issues?
I have this seat. The one potentially major detriment to it is that that cup holders, or even the seat rotational frame itself, dig into your car seat as you rotate it. This puts some wear and tear on your seat. I put a small towel on my seat that that seems to help with that.
That happens with this one too. If you look at the 2:26 mark, you will see a seat cover that we use to help keep the damage to a minimum. That one was available from target and fits the car well. I'm sure there's a seat cover compatible with your car and the Turn2Me. Good luck.
there's a tab under the pad next to that little single piece of belt on the front. I like to pull the slack from the back of the seat before pulling the straps. It just makes it move a little easier.
Graco should've hired you for the tutorial!! This helped a ton.
Better explanation than the website, like that you showed us what you did wrong and had to rotate the seat to the rear facing to access the bottom.

We've had this car seat for a while but how do we make it forward facing now that our son is older

@@Jazztube4321 Good idea on the seat cover! Beats using a towel! Thanks!
They turn feature is also for rear facing?
@@martinezgonzalez11 Turn feature is ONLY for rear facing. No turning when forward facing.
noticed the cup holder grinds up against the seat when turning toward you. is this true for everyone else?
I couldn’t figure out the belt/harness. How do I make them longer?

Thank you I was struggling lol
I have this seat and I don’t like where the bottom seat belt is positioned on the bottom of the seat, and not closer to the back.
Can the car seat be removed from its base?
It cannot, it’s one piece.
What you have under the babycar seat
It’s a seat protector for the baby seat. It didn’t come with it -you can get them at major retailers
How do you remove it
How do you loosen the straps?
There’s a tab hiding under the first layer of fabric that is near the strap that you would pull that needs lifted up to loosen.
