The same question generation after generation, until the option of school trans came along since 2017. What if you were a boy whose legs were more comfortable uncovered ?
whenever I see film footage from this era (late 60s - early 1970s) It never fails to show how attractive the girls always looked (despite the outdated fashion styles) and how dorky / awkward the boys always looked. I was a toddler during the late 70s , so maybe I am biased and seeing it from a different POV but the era of the miniskirt and babydoll dresses is always flattering to the fairer sex. The girl with the leg kick tick reminds me of Catherine Deneuve's character in Repulsion (esp the final still from the film). Tormented and haunting.
What on earth was all that about? Where was the sound?
This was probably shot on Super 8 with no sync sound
Sound wasn't added to schools until 1984

Of you want sound from Pathe clips, you need to subscribe.

The desks! I was so excited to get to 4th grade to sit in a desk like this!😂
They could sit still and be quiet?! Wow!
That the way should be in school being quiet listen to your teachers and learned.
I really liked the way people in 1970s dressed in red

Probably this school was still segregated even in 1970. Shame
