Exposing her eyes. It just kills me to see these poor dogs so matted you can’t tell their front from their rear and they have to stand there like prisoners with their eyes covered. It hurts to watch. Now you uncovered her eyes. Thank You again for doing this for her. Y’all are good people.

It's amazing how many people abuse and neglect animals around the world. Thankfully, there are wonderful people to help these abused and neglected animals. Damjan and Sanja are two of the wonderful human beings.
Special people who Love these dogs by finding them, grooming, medical care and help find new loving homes.

I watch you both from Indiana USA. I love what you do for these poor dogs. If I could I'd adopt one from you. My very senior dogs passed away last year. Please keep up the good work. I actually had neighbors for 15 years that came here after the war in Bosnia. They were wonderful people. They moved out of state but her sister still lives here and she's married to a man from Serbia. Can you imagine 2 sisters married to men that were forced to fight against each other? So sad. Bless you both.

It is so nice to see you two young people doing something so wonderful to help these precious animals. I know this lovely little dog has got to feel 1000% better after this grooming and apparently she settled in at her new home quite readily. I pray her new family loves her and treats her well, she deserves it.

In American English, the thing around her neck is usually called a collar - I LOVE that you call it a necklace. Please keep calling it that.
It is delightful to hear of things called different things. In England they call a horse's halter a harness.
There is a Serbian word for caller it's called 'ogrlica'.
I was never going to tell them we call it a collar. I love that they call it a necklace! :)

I moved to Sydney when i was 13 and lived there for 20 yrs. 12 yrs after moving back to Serbia i have noticed i make gramma miatakes and my english vacabluaty is deminishing as i dont speak in english every day any more. Say in english things like ,in school' like we say in serbian not 'at school' which is correct. My spelling was always bad. And its getting worse by the day. 😉

You guys are cute in your new aprons: Sanja's dark red and Damjan's dark blue. The little girl is sweet and adorable. This dog reminds me of my own. The coat, size, and face. He needs semi-regular grooming and we make sure to take care of him. I can't imagine leaving such a sweet animal to something like this.

So adorable. I love her markings. She reminds me of a pekingese I had. Her color was biscuit with black tips so I named her biscuit. I really miss her. I love seeing the care you have for dogs

Some of them are on the streets for years. But you can tell that they’ve been in a home before because they have manners and are willing to learn.
It such a wonderful thing you do. I love seeing you take care of these poor dogs. I wish we had people here that would do things like this for dogs. Its so sad that people just dump their dogs. That is such a problem here and the pounds are so full they are no longer taking animals. So thank you for all you do.

The absolute relief she must have felt, no longer having those heavy matted chunks hanging off of her little legs; at first I thought her back legs were paralyzed! I love how much more relaxed she got (I bet she loved all of those face rubs from Sanja! Probably felt _so_ good...) 😍
Edit: I'm always so happy to see the update when these poor pups go from neglected to utterly pampered and loved. She deserved the very best life, and she got it. 🥰

I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must feel to have these mats removed. Yet they seem to intuitively know that the people are trying to help without having any idea what is happening to them. I am amazed at how cooperative they are even though they don't know the groomers.
I was wondering if you ever weigh the dog before and after grooming it? It would be interesting to see how much extra weight the poor dog has been carrying around. I just love this little girl. She has such a sweet temperament.

WOW the dogs you have groomed that I have seen are very expensive here in the states... they are high maintenance therefore their coats become so terrible if not cared for....and the dogs are not able to do it themselves. Thank you so much for the work you both do for them.💘🎉

Your nice groom and good training in basic manners, as the least, paid off. Looks like you helped her into a good home.
You have to wonder what these dogs must be thinking/feeling during this grooming. I'm sure they are frightened and freaking out but they must feel a sense of relief after because all the weight of that matted, dirty hair is gone and they can move much more freely. It's a great thing to help these animals and get them the treatment and care they deserve so they can find a happy home.

As you are starting to groom this little dog, the spotted coat is showing. She will be so cute when she is clean.
I am always interested to see what the skin looks like. It's often different from the fur.
