    Sir u have shown the electron diffusion slop at base and it touches to zero at the edge of collector,sir if all the electrons are diffused befor collector...then how we are getting current at collector...at 10:45.

      Same query 🧐

      @@nitishgupta169 logically I think that since base is very lightly doped and also it has linear decay of carriers..so that if 10,000 electrons are injected(at x=0) then at the end of the base(at x=Wbn) it seems to atleast 9000 electrons....since the base is very narrow and only has few holes for recombination of electrons, only few of the electrons get recombined....but our aim is to prevent that too availability of holes, i.e..,to make availability of holes in base very low as well as possible

      Actually sir told it is exactly not zero at that end(x=Wbn).... what I am above said is only in logical manner and also qualitatively, not quantitatively 😇

    Is it for sure due to doping energy bandgap will shrink???

    • @sruthikasthuri1023
      @sruthikasthuri1023 4 года назад +1

      it shrinks..u can find it in Lecture 9..in degenerate doping concept

      @@sruthikasthuri1023 but sometimes it may expand also....🙄... i.e., Fermi level goes above the Ec (bottom of conduction band)....so that I am thinking.....
