USADA - Ashley is a good competitor, though. Didn't she win an individual final, too? She's annoying as shit, but she's still one of the top female competitors on the show. Like it or not. But yeah, she'll never make it to another final again.
I'd put the Johnny/Sarah betrayal over the Ashley/Hunter. Johnny was completely manipulative during that season making Sarah believe that he was over the vote in.
I disagree. Yes he was very manipulative, but there is a difference in playing for 275,000 and 1,000,000
But back on Rivals 3, that was the most amount of prize money to be won at that time so it was still a pretty big blow

Kolby Nelson don’t get me wrong, numbers don’t lie. But that don’t make it more valuable than the story of Sarah/Bananas - I’ll even go on the ledge to say: Despite the bitter disputes between Ashley/Hunter, I don’t think Ashley would’ve found validity in her decision to take the $1M if it wasn’t for Bananas doing it first.
The greatest part of Ashley’s betrayal was Cara’s reactions. You could see how giddy she was while TJ revealed the twist and that duh captures it perfectly

They fuckin rigged it either way. I'm 99% certain after hearing Marie's account of the events of that final that Joss/Sylv actually won that final, but because they knew Ash was the ONLY person that was going to consider taking the money, they gave it to Hunter/Ash instead. Furthermore they gave Hunter no real credit for eating almost all of the dishes while Ashley at 7-8 of them.

Okay but the real victims in situation #1 were Joss and Sylvia. They made a deal to let Paulie and Natalie win a challenge, and in exchange they agreed not to use the time penalty against them. Paulie and Natalie went back on their word and did EXACTLY what they said they wouldn’t do, and it literally cost Joss and Sylvia the $1,000,000. You really can’t trust anyone in this game.
And what’s sad is Paulie and Natalie wasn’t winning regardless of their choice, meaning they just took Sylvia and Joss’ million and they still got third.
Agreed. What they did was worse than what Ashley did to Hunter. He truly treated her like garbage. And the way he expressed himself made me feel like he would have laid hands on her if he wasn’t being filmed.

Bananas was way worse than Ashley. Ashley had a legit reason for not splitting with Hunter.
Bananas was worse than Ashley because he is a massive hypocrite and Sarah's "betrayal" was a move he would have made 100% no matter what he says. Bananas didn't even belong in the game at the point where Sarah threw him in because he was eliminated early in the season. The only reason he stayed was because MTV decided to put in a "redemption house" that season, and for most of the game he was there not working with Sarah. To top it all off I believe Sarah when she says Bananas used adderol in the final.
Ashley's reasons for the cameras were complete hogwash but I feel like she knows she's a piece of shit and owns up to it more than Bananas.
Neither of them are ever going to win the game again. Bananas got to have a say in who was cast for War of the Worlds and he still got eliminated early. Ashley shouldn't even bother anymore considering the amount she won ($532k after taxes).
AA Sharp Bananas was at redemption half the season and he absolutely sends in Sarah/Jordan if the roles were reversed. She owed him nothing for getting where she got, while Bananas definitely doesn’t win Rivals 3 without having her as a partner. It isn’t the same, and anyone that tries to play it off like it is probably cannot think for themselves and just eats up whatever narrative MTV wants to cook for them.
Ashley was no saint she just as bad as hunter thou like tf she and the rest of her group made it hell for everyone in the house even hunter so I don’t feel sorry for either
bananas wasn't really a bad decision. Sarah screwed him over by her putting in johnny and nanny in the elimination. so its def a payback. hunter did not deserve this at all from Ashley he helped her get to the final

Genevieve Zurita It had both Kenny and Evan, the two that were accused of the rape by Tonya. I think there’s validity to it- MTV coughed up a big deal with Tonya, Kenny and Evan we’re fired from MTV and there’s a gag order so no one can ever discuss the terms of the settlement. I’m pretty sure that’s why we’ll never see it again. Totally understandable actually, even though I really miss all those classic seasons SO MUCH. Luckily I binged them for months right around the time of that whole scandal- before they got scrubbed off the net

Really late reply but the reason they are never gonna show that moment is because of Kenny. Kenny and Evan will never be associated with MTV's show or IP ever again because of the shit they (allegedly) did to Tonya on the Ruins. I agree, blindsiding Paula and giving her spot on the boat to Evelyn was shady as fuck, but they just can't show it.

Hunter is all “you’ve got some bad karma coming for you” when he was the one who deserved the karma he got. He literally called Ashley a sl*t and threatened her family IN THE SAME SENTENCE. Everyone’s calling Ashley an a**hole when really she made the smartest decision, made it within a split second without even hesitating. It doesn’t even matter how much they’ve done, just imagine having to compete with a piece of trash like that for that long. He wasn’t even remorseful in his ‘apology’ to everyone. He’s not sorry, he’s just mad because his actions lost him that money. Ashley deserved every penny of that reward. Major props for MTV to for proving that he said those things instead of just letting him play the good guy.

This list is awful. Bananas and Kenny keeping Paula off the boat on the Island is a far bigger betrayal than any of these. What about the whole Champs team betraying Ev and lining up her going against her best friend Kelly Anne? Wes betrayed a real friend in Danny on Fresh Meat 2. Hell even Tina/Kenny tossing in Derrick/Diem against Darrel/Aviv in the original Fresh Meat was bigger to me than most of these.

Crazy seeing how many of these people that were STAPLE players of season after season that just disappeared and I’ve totally forgotten about.
Sarah said it comes with a price and that price came back and hit her. Plus Johnny said he was going to share it with her but she kept asking him if he was going to share the money and he had a feeling that if she was in the same spot as him she’s take the money.

The truth is Ashley and Hunter really didn’t win the challenge Sylvia and Joss really did but Ashley was the only one willing to take the money from their partner so production made it them for tv , there was a complete other challenge in the final that was cut out that Natalie and Paulie won . They just needed that tv moment of someone taking 1,000,000 for themselves

nichelle harris if you watch the episode again, it clearly states that the winning team gets no penalty and every other team gets a penalty for each dish behind the winning team that they were at. They then showed the final totals of how many dishes were eaten. Doing the math and then how small the differences between times were, plus the grenade Natalie/Paulie threw at Joss/Sylvia it actually makes perfect sense that Ashley/Hunter won.

What Hunter did to Ashley was wrong, but the replay was shown in favor to her side. She was just as horrible to him... and she usually is to someone every season. But really starting to think Hunter has issues with girls that sleep with guys on the show after the way he treated Georgia this season on War of Worlds.

Sarah did not eliminate Bananas. She voted him & Nany in against Leroy&Teresa. Leroy & Teresa won the elimination. So Bananas had a chance to stay and make it to a final but he couldn't beat Leroy so that is on him, not Sarah. Bananas keeps acting like Sarah sent home and that is not the case. He had a chance to stay but he couldn't get it done. It really pisses me off that everybody seems to be forgetting that.
