Thank you for giving an honest review of After Earth, there has been so much negative reviews that I was starting to really lose hope, but after Anthony's review I have finally decided to see After Earth. So thanks Mr. J
I'm glad to see someone who isn't latching on to "M Night Spamalot is the worst thing ever, dooooom!!" thing. I actually enjoyed this movie, sure there were some cheesy bits, but overall I enjoyed watching it. ...Also, fraq, I have thus far failed to make any shiny things to contribute to the art contest...
Wow, a review of "After Earth" that just focuses whether or not you liked the movie. You even addressed the major concern of whether CG overshadowed the story. I'm a tad tired of so-called critics dwelling on Will Smith using Jaden in the film or the possibility of subliminal religious messages. Another hit for Mr. Cerutti , Mr. Misiano and Mr. Frank (who I suspect is like Harvey in the James Stewart film).
After the awful critic reviews and seeing as I've hated Jaden Smith as an actor since i first saw him as that annoying little brat in the The Day the Earth Stood Still [2008] remake of the 1951 classic,i had no expectations when i saw this movie and was quite surprised and entertained by After Earth,definately worth a watch!
