The most significant change being that throws count as part of the combo and be comboed into and out of. And that throws can be tech hitted, but at the cost of meter. That would have been very useful for the hard knockdowns in MvC3.
Throws can be part of combos in all the following games up to MVC2. Timing is just way way tighter if you want the hit counter to add the throw in later games. It will usually happen 'randomly' if you like air combo into air throw. Some times you'll see the throw counted as a hit, basically, if you hit the throw quickly enough. Also an easy way to see a throw added as a hit in later games, is when Hulk, Zangief or Juggernaut does an armored move, you can usually do 1 or 2 light attacks in their armor state, then throw, and you will see "2 Hit Combo" or "3 Hit Combo" depending on how many attacks you do before throw without breaking armor. But in games like MSH or XSF, you want to add an air throw like Ryu's to an air combo, but you don't want the hit counter to add it, so the damage resets. Ryu's air combo > air throw (not counted) into shinkuu hadoken is a shit ton of damage. In games after XSF, most throws have auto recovery so, it's a moot point, it'll just cost damage if you try to combo the throw, due to scaling.
You crazy. I was doing the rush elbow combo to the gene spice to the up MP then optic blast in the air. Cyclops & Psylocke have magic series. So does Magneto.
Craziest shit I have ever seen, I have had this game on Winkawaks and I didn't know you can do chain combo like that. This is so entertaining to watch, I'm really impressed with how you managed to NOT receive a block damage from the Juggernaut, took him more than 3 HP or HK to go into hit stun. Lol
I wish I knew how to do all this when the game was in the arcade. I would’ve kicked everyone’s ass! But! They also would have been pissed off with that style.

He's playable without a hack. There were a few small revisions to this game though; In the first version he was super strong, after that they made him really weak which made him quite hard to win with.
