How many layers of fortification are there? Are makers of hidden tunnels killed to maintain secrecy. Geometry was vividly present in every foundation

There were three layers mentioned but now only two exist,
Most of the tunnels have closed with thrash and also fallen walls,
I tried to look for the one tunnel which was underground but it was sealed it seems
