I work at Burger King myself mate, I think the fries are much better than McDs IMO, also those onion rings I can tell they weren’t fresh matey, that’s the thing with fast food depends on how long it’s been held or if it’s fresh or not. My joint personally rarerly hold the food as it’s just too many complaints, but I think I agree with you on their milkshake, looks like they were running out of chocolate syrup haha! My local kebab. Istanbul kebab chislehurst. Does the best doner, nicest chips, best chilli sauce, and their burgers are cracking. The salad selection is awesome as well

Say staff aren’t run off their feet, but at same time they are only doing take away/ drive through. So don’t really need to look after outside tables. They shouldn’t really be getting used from the customers when you think about it

Burger King in Australia is called Hungry Jack's. Similar menu and branding, just different name. It is fantastic. Like KFC, they have chicken salt on their chips over there and it's part of what makes those 2 chains so good. Never understood why that salt isn't in the UK yet as it's as addictive as crack! 🤣😂 I live over in the UK these days and am constantly disappointed at the poor quality of the big franchises, Macca's included. Don't get me wrong, small independents and food vans here have some epic food, it's just the big chains that can taste like cardboard and their chip game sucks.

Would take a burger king over any other fast food burger any day. For some reason the quality just isn't as good in the service station branches though. My old local one in Elgin was always spot on though, as it the one closest to me now where I am in glasgow.
I think all of them can be a hit & miss. Burger King is somewhere I never went till one opened up close by I'm not gonna lie it was pretty tasty the cheese bites were on point (I'd go back for them alone). Got to admit thought Greggs isn't cheap anymore 2 sausage rolls and a bottle of coke is not far off a sky diver!
If it’s quality your looking for, then this isn’t the place you go. Pure convenience when there is nothing else available on the road is the only plus. You always get the same feeling after eating one of these meals, You know you’ve just eaten something really unhealthy and unsatisfying.
You only have to look at the queue at McDonalds to see who is popular & standard of clientele. Compare your Michelin star restaurant to the local kebab house on a Saturday night. Same equation, just because there’s a queue doesn’t mean the food is any good. I’d take a Burger King over McDonalds, since McD load the food with MSG, you may think it tastes great, put MSG on a dog turd, it’ll taste great. You wouldn’t want too though.
Burger King has good burgers but i agree that the chips are poor. Their sides of onion rings and nuggets are not up to scratch either. The onion rings look like frozen ones out of any supermarket and are 99.99999% batter to 0.00001% onion. The chicken nuggets should be done under the trade descriptions act as there's about as much 'real' chicken in them as a boiled potatoe 😃

The overall quality of fast food has slowly become worse through the years . Your right consistency seems like an ongoing problem . I think the price of beef has gone up Dramatically and obviously has had an effect on the fast food industry.. who knows what’s in the beef??. Probably a lot of soy. I would of went with the “Whopper “.I like the flame broil burger better. . You guys are getting Wendy’s very soon don’t expect much better unfortunately.. Afraid I've go to disagree with you regarding the chips, the Burger King near me does fantastic chips, McDonald's chips aren't far behind, and KFC's chips are consitently terrible, floppy and flavourless. The thing that lets Burger King down is the service, they always take ages and get your order wrong a good 40% of the time.
Burger kings whopper is the best imo compared to other fast food chain places like McDonald’s etc etc but it is pretty expensive and the sides are pretty trash (love onion rings but bk onion rings are 🤢). I don’t mind a Big Mac from McDonald’s and they do the best fries by far imo to the rest and is a lot cheaper than B.K but I’m still a little peckish after so even though B.K is a little more expensive I know I’ve had a good meal and again prefer the whopper to the Big Mac and 90% of the time if I’m paying for the meal I’m choosing Burger King 😂😂. What I’d chose next out of McDonald’s/KFC is much harder for me haha

BK flamed grilled burgers are better than McDonald’s burgers but McDonald’s win on most other things like French fries, milkshakes, ice cream deserts. When it comes to any chicken burgers then KFC win all day long imo. If I was out wanting a burger I’d go to a burger van, supporting them in this difficult times and most the time serving tastier burgers. I’m fortunate as my local burger van is “Hangry Moose” in Bromsgrove and it’s the best burgers on the planet!

In an ideal world i would have burger King burger & drink as they have DIY machines offering all.sorts of flavours. The jalapeño poppers are amazing too.Maccies chips, and an apple pie with a mc flurry. If i want chiken/ chiken burger id go KFC. But still want fries from maccies. I use to work at burger king 10yrs ago as a teenage and I can tell you the buns aren't steamed😂 we use to microwave the burgers sometimes.

Its preference. I personally think Burger King chips are so good. The difference between maccys and bk was summed up in that table intro. The standards at maccys are soooo much higher. Bk is dirty and unprofessional. And you couldn’t put it better...inconsistent.
