Best singer or not, however anyone looks at it, she is the best live performance singer, solo or with Nightwish. She is just so animated and mesmerizing above anyone else. She is my #1 for sure, and I'm 73.

Floor's speach in the beginning was something like:
This is the very first time I release a self-written solo song on stage. Because I'm not 25 anymore and not 35. Of course I've been doing this for quite some time, but I've never done this before. I find it a bit exciting because after 20plus years of metal and after Beste Zangers (Dutch TV show 2019), there was a long path next to metal, but what am I going to do now. What kind of music am I going to write now? How will Floor Jansen sound if it doesn't have to be metal? Yes, I am actually very metal, you have heard that today and the blood still creeps ..... And so after a lot of contemplation and luckily a lot of doubt, about 3 weeks ago my first solo single launched and next week it will be a TOP-song on Radio2 (Dutch radio channel). Very special, but tonight for the very first time "Fire".

Thanks so much for explaining what Floor said. I support her 100%. She is always going to please us, no matter what she does. Her taste in music is all wonderful, and her voice can literally take any form.

Hello, wonderfull to see Floor yesterday at the paspop Festival. And we see it again. She is born for Stage. Every time, Nightwish or Solo, she is live 10% with more Power in her Voice.🤘
1 month ago I discovered Floor together with Nightwish just by accident and she has since then become the beauty my soul craved so much for in this mediocre and small minded world in order to get elevated. This amazing woman lets me believe in human greatness again. Although some say she isn't human at all. Well, however, thank You Floor and see You in December in Hamburg.
I'm so glad you discovered them both! I hope you have heard The Last Ride of the Day. It is currently my top song I'm listening to. I can't get enough. I swear it is like getting on a roller coaster ride 🎢 every time! 🤘
@@reactiontalk Yes, I took a deep dive straight into the rabbit hole called Nightwish, but I am discovering them slowly bit by bit. I never believed I would find such beauty in METAL but there it is in all its glory. Last ride of the day is killer, I am at the moment mostly into Storytime and Song of Myself with the mother of all breakdowns. But what is it with Floor that I never before saw so many people breaking out in tears listening to her? I also never cried so much in joy listening to music before. What is going on here?
With Nightwish...it the genius at the keyboards that writes and composes the music...Tuomas. ( sorry, I cannot spell his last name ) He writes from his soul, and translates it to us in song!

For me it has to do with empathy.....she ouzes empathy! And she is a High Sensitive Person (HSP)! And, no matter what other people say, she’s very human and very down to earth! I am a huge Floor fan, in her FloorWorld and before that on her RUclips channel. She loves her fans and told us that she knew we were watching these, and she loved our forever support of her. She is absolutely the best I have ever heard and I am so proud for her.

🙏😘👍In the beginning she’s saying this is her first time performing a song she’s written herself as her solo project and her figuring out how her solo songs should sound like. She has written songs before together with her former bands but never solo. So she was very anxious to perform this for the first time! She’s allso very happy the song is received so well and being high in the Dutch charts this week. The band accompanying her is again that same band you saw at Karsu’s performance, its called The Marcel Fischer Band. And yes, the song is about Covid, time to let the 🔥out again, burning the silence down. And isn’t she radiant doing this performance, she just shines! She loves to interact with the audience so much as does her brothers from Nightwish! ❤️👍✨😁✨👋👋🤘🕊

Floor is always best live...always. I saw her live with Nightwish last November and that was all goosebumps and shivers. I was there with a friend of mine (a metalhead) and he said after the concert : She is just unbelievable! He had almost never listen to Nightwish before 😉

@@tod1045 Yes, sad but true. A lot of the Americans who listen to Floor and Nightwish, and lots of other bands of the same genre, can't believe it. They usually say "why have I never heard this before, it's great"
I blame the music companies because they don't play great music like this on the radio or TV.

@@ronnie1587 I am a huge RUSH fan and fell into the Nightwish rabbit hole on RUclips and have yet to climb out. heady lyrics like RUSH, great musicianship, and Floor, is amazing. Have had tickets for Lowell, MA 5/7 for over 18 months. Well worth the wait.
