I'm used to heavier stuff, but...This is pure gold :O I can't believe I've been living all this time without knowing these guys even existed!!! I've been missing out on so much, this is crazy! Thanks for the upload dude, you've made a metalhead really happy (and grateful ;) )! Cheers ! :D
I think it's more-so talking about people who do their best to worship God, yet do the most diisgraceful things to those who choose to worship him. An ironic message about Abrahamic(Christianity, Islam, and Judism) followers who put down and persecute others for their beliefs because they themselves think they're right, which is against God's word as all he wants is for people to do good deeds and not harm others for ill will, pleasure, or greed. That's just my take on the song, though.
Their guitar player has more talent then Metal has seen in years! I've just started listening to these guys after their CD was given to me for Christmas and I'm so glad cause other wise I never would've given these guys a chance!
My friend I shall tell you a cures that’s still hunts me to this day, you can never play your favorite rock music loud enough but may you be able to handle it as though it’s just an inconvenience and rock like hell anyway 🤘🏻
The lyrics are not 100% right. not trying to be arrogant or whatever but the Prechorus is "When the sovereign comes to me, I eclipse in the shadows veil, killing all I seek to be, for the passing vein is hate." This song is about falling away when God seeks you directly. Inhale doesn't fit with the tone and meaning of the song.
What bothers me is the part "I'm God forsaken". How I interpret that is that I'm forsaken/neglected/abandoned by God. And I know that I'm not abandoned by God no matter how much/deep I fall in sin. So I really hope I misinterpret that part of the song and can get an explantation.
Mathias Rahbek "It’s in our sin-nature to want to create our own path and live according to our own principles. This song deals with the distance that a believer can create between themselves and God, when we choose to keep Him out of our lives. The song says, “when the sovereign comes to me, I eclipse in the shadow’s veil,” which is to say, when we’re called by God to heed his instruction, sometimes we ignore and attempt to hide ourselves away, to instead go our own way. It’s no surprise that we often feel forsaken by God in these times, but the truth is that we’ve forsaken Him.’ - Ryan Clark" “Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Savior.” - Psalm 27:9
Alex the lyric goes "For the passing vain inhale" NOT "the passing vein is hate." This is off the demon hunter lyric sheet, you can google it. First remove the beam from your own eye, then go and remove the speck of dust from your brothers.
manliest tea party Hmm. Can you point out in the lyrics where you find that interpretation? I'm Christian myself, but I just want to make sure that, what I'm listening to is for and not against God.

Mathias Rahbek i think its from the perspective of a non Christian when some trys to talk to them about God they feel like they don't deserve it, if that makes sense
oh man.. this song make me strong.. you know what? i nearly kill my own self, i dont have money, i can,t pay the tax and ican't pay tuition fees... my mother and my father doesn't have a lot of money.. and i get bullied because i'm poor.. and my lovely grandpa died 4 years ago... i lose my faith in God.. i depressed.. and 5x times failed to committe suicide
you have to keep it up, resistance, i'm fighting against the same enemy as you, i don't have money either. And now i don't have so much faith in God as before, i'm starting a new depressing phase, but we can't give to the enemy what they want, we have to resist. (i'm not an american or european, sorry for bad english, i know your pain, even if we don't speak the same language)
A very good friend of mine gave me a CD of this band in a care package before we were supposed to go to Afghanistan.
... boss from my first contract out of JV... Gave me this band, little did I know how it would change my life for the better. Thanks boss!

Best song of the album. An everyday reality, forsaken from God through our own sin, fallen from virtue through our own will
Fallen Virtue Games is that the meaning behind this song?.
Fallen Virtue Games You are not forsaken if you are in Christ.

Can someone explain what this song is about?
Mathias Rahbek when you fall to sin but God comes to you
