This channel is so underrated it isn't even funny
Joku exactly
I'm so late to the game and just came across your channel. These are fantastic. I actually never realized the half-step modulation. I "felt" but never consciously realized.
im even later
that E flat major chord signifies there is still good in Vader
Wow, that was impressive, most impressive. I love how you analyzed the key changes! Instant subscribe.
A few important things have been omitted such as Piatti timings and the snare drum.
But hey, can't talk too much crap from such an amazing score reduction. Thanks for that!
This is my favorite part of the music by Johnny Williams for the movies, easily. Gifted composer and conductor.
MASTERPIECE! Amazing melody, masterly orchestration! I love this GREAT music since my childhood ♥♥♥
You’ve GOTTA do The Asteroid Field from this movie. It’s so interesting to hear, even if it would be hard to break down.
I would've loved to see the two cymbal solo notes in the last bars noted - they add so much character to the end! Otherwise, incredible video. You do fantastic work!
It is interesting to compare this to the Royal Navy's march, "Heart of Oak"
Needs a karaoke style bouncing ball for all us neophytes...
Alright, look at the beginning of the song and look on the left, there is a 4/4 for time, that means that there are four beats, and a quarter note has the beat, bounce your foot on the floor to keep time
This is actually so helpful
Amazing thank you for the score!
If you didn't know: from 0:04 to 0:06 you can hear "Help me, Padme".
Have you considered doing anything by John Powell? I'd love to see something from How To Train Your Dragon.
I'm working on some HTTYD! :)
Sweet! If I may ask, you don't happen to have cue 2m14 do you (If you get what I'm saying ;D)?
PLEASE!
always fun to see that triplet rhythm. thanks
Great video, but how do they find people to play this? That's a hard ass clarinet part.
Professional studio orchestras at this level can sight read these sorts of parts.
I can do the trumpet parts quiete easily. The only thing kind of difficult is the end. I can't tongue that quick.
@@finscontingencyplan7005 I find that quite incredible. I find it hard enough to just follow the rythm on the page while listening to the music. But obviously that's the whole "professional" part...
I get into this so much that I find myself reaching for the computer screen to turn the score page.
I have a question. In 73 bars, Harp is actually playing C# in gliss, and woodwinds are not playing C natural or C#. Why? Check out the score.
ab c Maybe because of the blended sound
Please do the same with LOTR soundtrack!
Measures 60-63, Nothing like hearing those glorious Horns! FTW!
Best part of this theme in my opinion. One of the reasons I took on horn along with trumpet (my main)
Thank you. Keep it up. I love these.
I finde your lack of faith disturbing 😂 I think that became my favorite line
I'm reminded of a time (can't recall if it was in brass band or orchestra) but the piece we we're practicing had similar overtones, so we Trombones all decided that when cued we'd play the main theme from Imperial March. It took a good ten minutes for everyone else to recover from laughing. Ah brass player horsing around.
Yeah. In Jazz band, we had to do solos, and I began playing the main ques of the imperial march on piano, everyone got a kick out of that
Was it Dance of the Knights by Prokofiev?
@@claytonr.young-music912 I did too. My band director got to play that song in an orchestra. he played a trumpet. He saw that video too and said it will be amazing if someone did that and I said I would if we played it.
역사상 가장 위대한 필름스코어 테마
half step up is not a modulation. it's just, well, a half step up. :)
Could you do "Ramifications" from zootopia? I would love to see it transcribed!
what strings/winds/horns do you use?
Stuart McMullen Haha if only samples sounded this good. These are all live studio recordings on this channel. Usually from the soundtrack itself or the soundtrack albums.
I find your lack of subscribers disturbing
Shame I had to disturb the 666th like. Kinda ruins the spirit of the music.
Watching this feels like I've seen the internal workings of a divine will as if it was not safe to expose mere mortals to this level of genius.
Back from the days when Williams actually still wrote real themes and not simple motifs like he does now.
It's the Hogan's Heroes theme with a couple of changes.
i was forced here by my over rated music teacher
No once cares.
same lol
