    Sizzix makes a crome plate especially for this problem. I have used it and it wks well for dies that don't cut well.

      Oh it is awesome! I use it sometimes as well! The first time I figured out I needed it was with the Leafy twigs panel. And I usually use it but for the video I wanted to use what most people have. I will be sure to mention that chrome plate in my next video!! Thank you!!!

    Try using your poky tool from the back of the die its much easier than trying to pull it out lessoning the chance of the die cut tearing hop you don't mind me saying ?? Xx

    • @clemonscrafts
      @clemonscrafts  Год назад

      Oh no I don't mind at all! It was just so tricky because those really strange tight places didn't have holes in the back right there! But! I did use my poky tool more after reading the suggestions! It really does help, so thank you!!

    We are to use a USED fragrance free dryer sheet. And sticking a pokie tool into every opening helps to release the cut out.

    • @clemonscrafts
      @clemonscrafts  Год назад

      Ahhhh fragrance free! See, now THAT I wouldn't have thought of, either! I tried poking the holes in the die, but if you can see (it is tough from the video) at certain parts of the "r" in the word and at a difficult part of the tree, there is a lack of holes. Yikes. But yes, that does help when there is one! Definitely!

    I enjoyed watching and learning with you. I wonder if a used dryer sheet would have different results?

    • @clemonscrafts
      @clemonscrafts  Год назад

      I absolutely think so! My next video I am going to try it out before I make the Valentine's tags! I was editing this video, when it suddenly hit me, "Maybe the dryer sheet was supposed to be DRY?" LOLOL!!! Oh! Well, we shall see!! LOL!!!

    • @kathleens6837
      @kathleens6837 Год назад +1

      Can't wait to see the tags and the results! Also, I wonder if you dusted the die VERY lightly with cornstarch using an old scruffy brush, rather than dusting the paper, what the results would be.

    • @clemonscrafts

    You need to use dryer sheets that have been used and after you use them, then you use them as a layer put them through the Sizzix messing with the die and they don’t stick to the paper

    After you cut the dies, poke the hole from the back of the dies… instead of pulling the tree out. That would help. ❤
