it's hard to decide if i prefer the driving physics of Assetto Corsa or BeamNG. Both games feel very much like real driving. In BeamNG you get a great sense for all the difference parts a car is composed of. But a lot of times the system is too sensitive and you get damage just from revmatching not 100% perfectly, while irl it would just work. and i'm not talking about the kinds of revmatches where it's bumpy, but pretty smooth normal day ones. and it's just one of many examples of the system acting up. assetto corsa does not have the same depth in its driving physics and you can feel that it's just approximations to what should actually happen often. especially when a car takes off from the ground unrealistic things tend to happen. flips, that just make no sense and stuff like that. but at least they finetuned the physics to do just the right thing, when you're driving well, a perfection-in-the-right-moments-approach
I would say the same. Assetto Corsa is kinda more preferred if you don't want to worry about damage and just want a driving experience.
The manual gearbox system is getting overhauled in a future update
These vehicles are so good that real-life cars actually use these!
Teardown has a similar approach, but the chassis is indestructible, so you can blow up the car with a devastating bomb that destroys everything in a 10 meter radius, but there will be a perfectly fine, polished chassis with all the wheels attached just chilling there 😂
🤣🤣
Could you add crash physics? You could grab the universal controller asset if your making your game on unity
@@jonnjacob I had some simple physics for crash. But I removed it for now. Maybe I'll add it back later if I had no performance issues and extra cpu budget .
K
I have a question Will the game come to playstore?
@@jonnjacob yes it will be published on playstore
@@irajmh Lez go ill download your game when it's released
bros making games from android tablet or smth
@@fomingera65 Exactly, it's being made for android
Will you add customization if so what kind? Just buttons that you press, buy and then more power without any model changes or the same thing but the model changes example:I buy a engine upgrade It doesn't change the engine But in the second example i buy a engine upgrade and the engine changes
@@jonnjacob in my original idea each vehicle is going to have 3 unique upgrades. And each vehicle will have different upgrades available.
@@irajmh Noice
Name of game
Wild cruise. coming to playstore
Snowrunner's physics SUCKS
that was very interesting
Does arma reforger do that?
Just saw a video on their vehicles. If I have to guess, I don't think that they do
@@irajmh At least the suspension looks independent.
