    First tutorial I've seen that was easy to follow, and I love that you sing the chords as you go, lol. Felt like I was actually sitting down with my guitar teacher. Thanks! Keep them coming!

    Keep going, don't stop playing. When it clicks there's no feeling like it. I've been playing for about six months now and can't believe how far I've come, especially with Justin's help. Fantastic teacher, wonderful pacing in his lessons, almost like he's in the room patiently listening to all the mistakes and pushing you along.

    You are the only teacher who I can understand-especially when you sing the song & integrate the chords into the lyrics. This song saved my life in 2009 & I’m so excited to learn how to play it.
    Thank you 🙏 truly.

    I know this is 6/8 but exactly what is the strum pattern as I can't figure it out. Straight down strums does not sound anywhere near as good as what Justin is playing but where do the ups go?

      This year's love had better last
      Heaven knows it's high time
      I've been waiting on my own too long
      And when ya hold me like you do
      It feels so right oh now
      I start to forget how my heart gets torn
      When that hurt gets thrown
      Feeling like you can't go on
      Turning circles and time again
      Cut like a knife oh now
      If ya love me got to know for sure
      'Cause it takes something more this time
      Than sweet, sweet lies oh now
      Before I open up my arms and fall
      Losing all control
      Every dream inside my soul
      When ya kiss me on that midnight street
      Sweep me off my feet
      Singing, "ain't this life so sweet?"
      This year's love had better last
      This year's love had better last
      'Cause who's to worry if our hearts get torn
      When that hurt gets thrown
      Don't ya know this life goes on?
      Won't ya kiss me on that midnight street?
      Sweep me off my feet
      Singing, "ain't this life so sweet?"

    @mike8307 I dont think thats really a fesible idea, Would you really want to sit at home changing strings stretching tuning playing parts of a tune and then starting all over again with another set? it's bad enough changing one set! maybe he could explain what kind of soundyou get but im sure you could google the types and get more info shit..... i even think it says on the packet

    You are a teaching God! Ten years I've been trying to learn to play the guitar and I've learnt more in the last 2 months of using your beginners book and Web vids than the previous 9.9 years. Tonight, after only 2 hours of learning the song, I recorded myself playing and singing along to This Year's Love. I'm so happy I felt compelled to leave you a message of gratitude. I honestly can't believe it. Thank you so much.

  • @SideAffectz
    @SideAffectz 12 лет назад

    @woodsballmlz
    G# Major would be a good place to start. He's playing mostly G D C/G Emin but because of the capo on the first fret you'd play G# Major over that.

  • @FrankDr3bin

    Justin... love the sound you get from your guitar. What kind of strings are you using (the type if not the make) Maybe you can do a vid comparing all the different types of acoustic strings, how to get mellow to bright with clips of the same song done with the same guitar strung with different sets of strings. 80/20 bronze, phosphor bronze, nickle, coated / uncoated. etc. Just a thought. cheers mate...
