Greetings from America 🇺🇸 You have wonderful taste in music , my friend 👍 This modern stuff they call music these days has no depth - The older music like this has Soul ❤ I hope all is well with you and those you love .
For those of you who are here on December 25, 2024, I don't know you and I don't know your suffering, but don't give up, sometimes you need to fall to the bottom to enjoy the climb. Merry Christmas
It's 1am, not sure if I'm gonna sleep, life has been good this far, just don't forget, the desert is meant to be a learning place, just keep going on. You can do it.
Reminds me of the days when the commonwealth wasn't an irradiated hell hole. Warm summer night .The glistening lights of Boston in the distance and an ice cold Nuka Cola in my hand. Didn't know just how good I had it before the bombs fell.
Is there something similar in apple music? I want to listen to this music in the car and on headphones)) and it is advisable to add to the playlist) this is very kind music that awakens some memories that I don’t have (I’m quite young for nostalgia)
When you’re having a slow dance with your mafia spouse in the year 1934, after they got a new job you were able to afford a nice apartment overlooking the Hudson River in old New York. You’re not sure how your spouse makes their cash, but you still love them no matter what
POV. You're a young adult who wants to make a name for yourself in the big city, after leaving your home town and saying goodbye to your family. You drove to the next state over, exhausted after driving for almost two days, you stop at a sleepy little town, you went to a local diner and ate a sandwich, after finishing you asked the lady sitting next to you, asking if there's a place you could go to stay for the night, she tells you to go to the house with the purple curtains. After a short walk, you see the house, you were about to knock but the door was slightly open you enter and hear someone playing the piano, you look around you see it was an older woman playing it, you lean against the wall next to the door ,you listen to her play, when the song was over, you clap at her performance. She looks surprised so you introduce yourself so not to be threatening, she smiles at you, she asked why you're here, you explain you want somewhere to rest for the night, she told you, you can sleep on the couch she has in the back.. She guided you to the back, the walls were decorated in pictures and portraits, the warm light filling the room, it felt so peaceful, she pointed at the couch, and says to make yourself comfortable, you nod thanking her over and over, she smiles warmly at you then says " hope you like jazz" before leaving and she left the room. You were left there by yourself, after folding your coat and taking off your shoes, you lay down on the couch, you tried to go to sleep but you couldn't, you let your eyes wander, you examine the pictures on wall, the small floral pattern in the wall paper, your fingers tracing the velvet circles that adorn the couch, it felt like hours but you couldn't sleep, suddenly you hear the soft melody on the other side of the wall. It sounded like a few more people were there, soft murmurs meld with the music, it reminds you of the family parties when you were younger, the memory of hearing your mother, father, aunts and uncles laughing while jazz played on the radio whilst you, your siblings and cousins sleep together for the night, you crack a small smile as you feel your lids grow heavy, sighing as you let sleep take you. After a while at 9:30 the older woman came to the back and saw you sleeping, you were snoring, with your mouth slightly open, she chuckled as you remind her of her children, she takes a blanket out of one of the chest in the corner and drapes it over you.. You shift slightly nuzzling into the blanket, she went back to the door and walking out, saying as quietly as she could "Good night"
It feels like a long day after work, you hang your coats and take a seat, lighting a cigarette before turning on the radio as this comes and plays. You wonder if there'll be any more wars after the huge bombs that were dropped, but it seems like things are looking up. Despite your job not paying that well, it's still giving pennies from the heavens, and hey, you're fed, slack happy, and got it going! You're tired, but you earned your bread, and it's time to rest.
😢🥴🤔, I must pad my wall by my bed. PTSD, I fight in my sleep. FULL KICKS. PUNCHES, ECT. 😢 Sometimes, winning, mostly fighting for my life. It ends when I wake up.😡🥴
