I always looked at the amount of pokeballs you had when you encountered the pokemon. From about 500 down to under 100...questions for your episode idea: how many balls do you need a day, how many pokemon do you catch a day and how long does ist takes you to fill up your balls after a event like go fest or cday? Btw, hope to see you in Berlin at go fest

what’s the research challenge that you get these from?
I grinded for about 16 hours for the past day and a half and ended up getting a shiny snorlax as I was heading home , it took me back to when u were looking for the chungus because of how long it took me aswell

Jut finding research tasks with a pokemon encounter has been difficult... No shinies from them yet, but i did get a shiny Chansey and a random shiny Aipom today. Also got a shiny meltan from the first box, should open the second one now actually

I got a hundo blastoise from the mega blastoise raids a month or two ago
Only did 4 of the tasks and pulled shiny charziard and shiny venosaur back to back
I’ve checked about 80 stops and not seen a single one of these tasks
That’s 1160 shiny vensaur has the exact same cp and ivs as the one I caught yesterday haha insane

Getting a wild/research 3rd evolution shiny is more rewarding than evolving in my opinions. I just love getting the chance to do it

yep i either just get some razzberrys or a fucking wimpod... Looks like i wont be getting a shiny charizard or venosaur... I have shiny blastoise cause i found a shiny squirtle ofc and not a shiny charmander...😑
How do you find so many of the relevant quest every event? I miss being in a bigger city, it always feels like our pokestops actively screw us over with the quests. We have plenty of stops at this point since covid began, but for some reason i rarely see more than 2 batches a day and thats if i go out for 3/4 hours, and often i have to drop ar task to find them after already going through areas

I was insanely lucky yesterday, got myself two 96% meltan and a 93% (15/12/15) shiny one, so fricking happy! Congrats on that 96% venusaur and all the shinies, great work JT))
My only shiny during this event is a mankey iv 2% lol.

What research tasks are the ones that give charizard and snorlax?
I always get the bad researches. Like catch 10 pokemon for some raspberrys. Spent 1 hour walking around the most filled spot of pokestops (talking 30+ in a 2km radius) but only had 5 ish researches "catch **** pokemon" rewarding an encounter... What am I doing wrong? Or what is JT's strategy?

I've found one catch 25 and one catch 40 since the start of the videos. I hate research based events they fucking suck for people who don't live in a massive city. No shinies or anything, odds for what spawns just doesn't add up

So far I’m about 1 for 80 on mewtwo raids myself, got a few 98s and 1 💯 though so can’t complain too much; not sure what the rates are but I always thought they were 1:20. If they are then my luck is just terrible tbh. 😭
