From taking a piece of coal from the ground and drawing something on the wall of a cave, to using AI, it’s a whole gradual field of tools that we use along the way. Including using things like an iPad that makes many things easier for you. Creative people are creative with a piece of coal or with AI, those who do not complain all the time and see beyond. Positioning yourself at a specific point of that gradual line of tools is just a marketing strategy, nothing more.
@@bailopinto it’s very funny to witness people like you try to group the generative ai technology with genuine art tools and mediums and failing every time to understand that fundamentally ai is just not an artists’ friend and not a creative tool, it’s very much the opposite. Your take lets me know Either you’re a pathetic tech bro who doesn’t want to create or improve or you’re a lost artist who simply doesn’t understand what’s at stake here.
He is an exceptionally skilled artist, but he is also very kind and humble. Last year, I took my kids to meet him and get a signed copy of his book when he was drawing at a local Kinokuniya store. He was working on a large canvas with a permanent ink marker, it was loads of fun and inspirational watching him draw. It's neat to see him enjoying Procreate :)
I really like that you are showing artists who are passionate and label it as human made. this is a really huge message and I am really happy you are delivering that. We need that. Thank you, Procreate.
One day I know Procreate will come to my Galaxy Tab S9 ❤ If Procreate has such humble artist on their videos I I just feel like they also are on the works for many artist who use Android tablets and admire the awsome time, effort and development that they put with love into this beautifil program. Many love from your silent Android viewers ❤
I wish procreate will add features to make it easy to create Manga with their app or make an entirely different app for creating Manga like they did with animation.
I can barely stabilize my footing on a Japanese train, and he can draw with precision. He truly is a master of drawing with hand stabilization skills like that
I vow to also keep drawing forever. I can be a very lazy artist 😅 trying to get in the habit of drawing everyday bc it’s something that truly makes me happy. I enjoy using procreate.
It's really wonderful seeing how much he's enjoyed using Procreate and adding it to his workflow! It kinda shocked me when I first saw how many Japanese artists were all over Procreate, and I'm glad it seems to be only growing in popularity!
Thanks for showing this. I've been wanting to get into learning manga creation myself, and i just had an ipad laying around, i really didnt know procreate was capable of producing it all i see is "Clip studio paint" this and that i feel relieved to see that there is limitless possibility now!
this was feeling of being seen again being appreciated for artist who actually did lot of studies and learned art this was acknowledgement of hardwork bless that artist❤
I recommend using the grid tool with Drawing Assist and adjusting it to make the squares fit in a perfect ratio to your canvas size, then using the squares as guidelines for drawing borders! Also, fun fact, if you draw a shape, hold your pencil in place, and use your other hand’s finger to press on the screen, the shape becomes a perfect circle/square/rectangle :)
Excellent article, thanks. I have the equipment and the desire and already know how easy Procreate is to use with the iPad and pencil. Sadly I don't know where to order the skill set from. Simply out, my drawings suck! And seeing this has just reminded me how much they really do suck! If only I had one tenth of the talent displayed here; if only!
thank you @procreate for highlighting & supporting the art made by humans. And for not indulging in any AI features like Adobe and Wacom.

@@bailopinto Except generative AI is not a tool but a leechware that doesn't have anything to do with creativity.
@ If you don’t see generative AI as a tool, you’re not creative. It’s okay, you’ll see in time.
Wacom uses AI? What way? I didn’t know

Love procreate for this vibe shift against the grain
I love manga and comics so I also draw both. This is very relatable to me as I also happen to carry my iPad air with me all the time lol.

Such a great video. Enjoying this,
Thanks so much!
Fantastic artist displayed here. Using hands, and not "prompts" & thievery labeled as art.
Love it❤️
Apologies for being that guy, but what brush does he use for the creation of manga in Procreate? Is it built in or custom/bought? Thanks!
i think its time for u to make some updates, especially on lasso tool. long time no new great features.
Been a very, very long time some any meaningful workflow features. Thinking like 3+ years
@@AlexHuneycutt thats what i am saying. and it makes me sad.
Acky Bright ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
I saw this guy on Archipel channel
Muito legal
i use procreate all the time but CSP really does have features to make comic making faster.
We need more features for manga/Comics in procreate. 🥹😭🙏🏻🍀
Yes I wish they would follow suit!
bring it to android and windows already....
What brushes does he use in this video?
Is this the equivalent of asking Kim Jung Gi (RIP) what pen he used?
🙂👍🙋🏻♂️
NO MORE AVALIABLE LAYERS
😢😢😢
When for Android :(
Wonderful video, love this series!
Also - when can we expect the new update with Kyle’s brushes, you mentioned that it would take place this year. 🥹
