Everyone needs to keep in mind the railroad is to make money. These guys are sharing their journey with us. They are not paid professional actors who reshoot the video to get it perfect. Don't get hung up on poor grammar, and reading while driving. We all have our faults and are smart enough to not repeat certain behaviors. The essence of the videos are the prime directive. That is, sharing the journey of building a business, just happens to be a railroad business! Keep it real guys. That is what makes your videos so great. You look like us, and act like us. You guys are inspiring a lot of people when we need it. Thank you. I get worried when I don't see a new video waiting for me after a few days. Stay safe, Rob

Graham, you, your Dad, and your friends are doing an excellent job. Just keep safe and do what you love. Thank you again for highlighting those that are helping out. It brings the tightness of the team out to show everyone's hard work to this. As for music, yes, but keep it like the one I just watched here: Country with a railroad-ish theme and no singing. The music makes it very enjoyable when you are working between your talk sessions. Cheers from a recently retired locomotive engineer from Georgia.

I think it is to. I met Graham father quite a long time ago at a reunion conference. Sponsored by the New-haven railroad museum. It was for former employ's of the New York- New Haven railroad formerly the Pennsylvania Central railroad. Graham's grandfather used to work for them. His father used to tag along with his grandfather when he was little. Graham's dad has a very good story about it. he told it to me the one time I met him. When he had hair on his head and he was doing charity work for the railroad in North Carolina. His family goes back to the transcontinental rail road. I think they even did the original track work and maintenance. Especially during the early days of steam.

I agree. My minds works spatially. I need to see maps and diagrams; to me verbal descriptions of physical locations have little meaning.
The white board presentation last month on the drainage problem helped my understanding of what was going on a lot. Please provide a diagram or map, if you will, that we can save of the property from one end to the other.
Doesn't have to be fancy. Hand drawn on the white board is fine. Then at the beginning of a video were you are working on one area; reference the location on the map.

I love the idea of getting the people who also work with you on hear and letting them talk about what they are doing and giving their opinion. If you want to take care of alot of the weeds on the side you can use Kilzall to take care of it it quickly. I have an idea about your ditch if you didn't see my comment in the older video when you were digging it, what if you used the railroad ties as sides to keep out the erosion & mud until you really get going with this terminal & be able to use blocks or tile. The ties have the chemical on them that keeps them from eroding & they will last some time as well

Maybe even some way to provide a printable version for us to follow along with. Also, might it possible sometime to place "mile markers" every so often to give us viewers a better perspective of exactly where you are on the line when filming. Music depends if it's a short bit with some ambient sound it works.
Longer and or sped up cut in the music.
As to type country/bluegrass with a railroady theme seems to work best.

Nice paint Looked so good I printed a pic of it and hung it on the wall..My wife saw it and asked about it.. I invented an elaborate story about how my son and I were going to fly out there (from Rhode Island!!) and drive it over the Cascades and back home..I said it wouldn't take too long, maybe a few weeks cuz it should do at least 30 or so on the flat land.. It would be beneficial to have a biography on everyone involved. You and your Dad obviously but your mom and anyone else that’s involved. You and your Dad are very good to give credit to everyone involved

There is a Center cab sitting outside the Everett Railroad storage track. Right next to the work shed for the Everett Scenic Railroad in Duncansville, Pa. right along route 22. You can see it very clearly on Google maps. I think they used to have two. Really enjoy your site. Keep up the fun. Mike Kirchner. ( Waiting for Hats to buy.)

Excited to hear dads railroad history story. Pull up next to the stove with coffee bacon and biscuit let it rip
Appreciate the tour again. Looking forward to you guys laying more track and expanding. Looking forward to seeing the rotary dumper in action.
    Nice job

I am one that would like to hear about your Dad's working experiences with railroads over the years. It's nice to see you narrating a video because you bring a different feel to the subject matters.

I would make a burn pile on the other side of the tracks. Keep you warm while you work.

I enjoy your progress, as for music? Rather hear you or machines.
