A lot of updated kits since I've made this video, this is my current recommendation: amzn.to/3R4rYeO

In the 750R Extreme Smap Circuits kit there is an additional manual that describes in some detail electrical circuit concepts and circuit component functionality. I believe the 750 Snap Circuits extreme, is the only Snap Circuits kit that includes this "STUDENT GUIDE", the student guide can be purchased separately if you own the SC-300R or 500R.

Thx for your video, and thoughts. I found a Snapkit 101 for $3 at a thrift store yesterday. I am a college instructor for audio technology (synthesis, recording) and I use things like the Korg Tiny Bits, and Science Fair electronics kits to help students have an experience creating sound with voltage (instead of with software instruments). I really like this Snap Kit! I will certainly add this to my collection of teaching tools.

The Snap Circuits Classic Set is probably the best starting set. About 45 parts for 300 projects

We got the pro 500 expt version on carousel for 25 Singapore dollars and it's been great. My son just turned 4 and he's done about 50 projects with some variations. However we are missing the spinning wheel that goes on the motor and were wondering if there's a way to buy just one part
