A good example of this will be if players were in an adventure mod.
So they can only use specific tools to break/build with blocks.
So these beautiful builds won't turn into 2D2K anarchy after a few days.
Noone would run about in enchanted diamond gear or have overpowered vanilla weapons.
So other weapons and armour mods could shine.

It would be too obvious to see a player just sitting in a corner and do nothing
The thing that I notice the most in these 100player team battles is that they don't use scouts efficiently at all. I mean you could put a watchtower further away from your base so that you would be able to cover more area of detection before they come really close.
Yeah. Lack of proper recon is honestly the biggest factor for why so many MC Civ teams usually lose.
Like, if you have one person responsible for keeping track of each individual opposing team, they can do so much to keep their team up to date with any changes or give early warnings to prepare for battle.
Eyo, why dont we just form an insane team. Planmaking and shit. Win this battle 😮
I like these medieval series more than other civlization videos! You should add team flags to the map next time to help visualize what team owns what territory

I mean, if they found the yellow beacon, they could have done it.
Their only option for victory would be to sneak up to find yellows beacon just like how the yellow team leader had done to find reds beacon.

Hi Sword4000, Nevas buildings here, the creators of this map. It was really interesting to see our map used in this way. To see the builds we created really come to life. We do wish you would have asked us first, before using the map. You commented on one of our videos about maybe wanting to use one of our maps in one of your videos, and we gave you our email address to further discuss this, but we never received any messages. We would probably have accepted as it is really cool to do a collaboration like this (although a shoutout in the video would have been nice), but it is still the right thing to ask permission first.

I did send 2 emails to the email you replied to my comment with, you didn’t get back to me sadly, but I did see you grant permission for use on private servers on a reply on Planet Minecraft hence why I thought it was okay to use it.

An idea that once occurred to me was to use the levelling system that's in the RLCraft modpack. Where it would promote the individuals to split their tasks and in a sense work together by allocating specific tasks to one another.
Also I felt bad that the teams were medieval but had to use the tiny boats to sail, why not use some form of boat/vessel mod?
These kind of videos take a long time and a lot of effort to make so I would appreciate your hard work and would love it if you could consider using my idea in a future video.

This one scene was destroying me. I could not stop to laugh after the first battle of green and blue, because of the mics and the cracked voice which screamed:“ turn back“

Yellow team were truly the real well deserved winner . Great tactics and leadership , knew when to fall back , sacrifice but for greater good . Red team although good on approach , were no !match to diplomacy of yellow team . Blue team were kind of the underdog ones . But they died in a heroic manner ...until the end
It helps that red had retarded guards.

hey sword I would love to se more of this kind of videos. I do have some recommendations for your next video maybe next time give each team their own weaknesses and strength for example; the Viking team have strength II but they have the least gear and the most unprotected team. Hope you see this.

Yo Sword you totally need to do this video again but also implement the Ancient Warfare mod. In case you didn't know, the Ancient Warfare mod adds a ton of modded medieval equipment such as armor and weapons plus things like siege engines. It would make this video a 100x better
Yup we looked into it but since the map was 1.18 only we weren't able to use any mods compatible with this incredible map!

Plot twist: there is another team, The Crusaders with a mix of all of the team with some people and they are coming for Jerusalem, Deus Vult!
I remember those old days when he uploaded hardcore vid 100 days (without mods) he has grown a lot since then. Keep up the work
This video was great, but I think adding some extra movie type-of graphics/shaders would make this even great.

Yeah, these guys weren't the brightest when it came to defending their own beacon.
Full frontal attacks are never valuable since even you kill 3 enemies for every one you loose, you're still putting yourself up for a disadvantage against the other teams.
That's why a solid defense team while having light scout patrols taking advantage of enemy movement is the best choice.
The funniest part is the beacon chandelier remained standing.
True they never found it HAHAHAHA

These war/civilization videos are fun to watch, but seem really short considering how much effort must have gone into making it. I mean something like this should have 5-6 videos at least. I think more time spent showing the effort and perspective of individual players and gathering/mining/scouting subgroups would greatly improve these and get more views. l)J

having pre built cities, villages and castles is kinda cool
1) Find cave
2) Get to lava lake
3) Place beacon at bottom of lava lake
4) Cover with obsidian
5) Cover obsidian with lava
6) Seal up area with smooth stone
7) Run away and build your base elsewhere
8. Break all the server rules by doing this 😅
I have yet to understand why the guards weren't guarding the beacon??? Lol

This is one of my favorite ones.
I love this a lot, but i feel the 'whole team take over' if you destroy a beacon is too much. imo it's a bit too OP and makes the battle end too quickly.
We only added that to give teams an incentive to actually defend their castle instead of just running around and leaving it behind
I like the idea of assimilating a team but it should probably be if you can kill their “king” who will be like a vip
@@Sword4000 then why not just become nomadic or carry the beacon with you when you leave? Seems a little bit Overpowered when you have 3 beacons,with almost 40 players combined against 1. That’s just my insight though,and I enjoyed the video.Keep up the good work!
