The side aerial format for presenting Magic games is terrible. There's glare. You can't see the hands. It's remarkable that they invest so many resources in the smooth and professional commentating and then the actual game is unwatchable.
Yes, poker players train to hide their stress, either by putting "poker face" or by taunting/harrassing the opponent. Poker face is only relevant to magic when you're bluffing certain cards. (And taunting will get them DQed, but I know that's not your point). If you can manage to sit still in important competitions, that's good for you, but as a mtg player, hiding such stress won't do you much good in matches (as opposed to not let it affect you). I can understand how it bothers the viewers, tought, but I still can't blame the players.
Some guy starts handing out fidget spinners Random player:judge i want a gold fidget spinner Judge:We dont have gold fidget spinners Random player:Well i want lasagna Judge:Sir we dont have lasagna Random player:MOM THE JUDGE WONT GIVE ME LASAGNA!!!
It’s a lot like a word search/puzzle game, they’re trying to imagine all the possible routes of play by shuffling the cards and hoping to find a plan that they haven’t seen yet. Some players can also guess what you have if you keep the cards organized by when you draw them or by watching eyes based on what’s on the board. People forget that a lot of the top players are extremely intelligent

no. I refuse
Lol, I came to the comments to ask why they constantly shuffle their cards...
Who can move their hands the fastest lol. They should get something for never sitting still.
ADHD
Insanely short attention spans or they are on something. Give them those fidget spinners so they stop fidgeting with their hand of cards.
They totally aren't just stressed out by playing a championship.
Nicolas Sznajder fair opinion, but have you seen poker players? That's how I play magic.
