Actually they have very specific layouts for the course with a co-driver dictating as they go, called pace notes. They have a short hand tells them how severe a corner is and how fast... if there is bumps etc...

I do really miss Jonas Andromeda, haven't seen him for a while now, because he was retired from motorsport competition in around late 2018 (his last year of motorsport competitions in Dakar Rally and Formula 1), and he returned to his police duty after his retirement from motorsport. At least, his younger cousin John Andromeda made his debut to the WRC in 2016 as Jonas' successor, of course John is currently competing for the WRC.
My 1st driving job. When dominoes still had the 30 min or free guarentee. Those chevettes would almost go like these rally cars. Actually those chevettes would go like that if my delivery was on a closed off road course.
Love the fast sections! Great footage! Too bad that with the clean driving style that started back in 2002 the slow sections are not as spectacular anymore...
Honestly, people get all misty-eyed about Group B, but these cars are surely faster, they're exponentially safer (see Tanak's crash) and the drivers look like they're all properly on it in what was a VERY close contest in Monte. The only thing missing compared to the mid-80s is a variety in engine sound and better TV coverage. Otherwise current WRC rocks.

You should be contracted to Formula One to help them convey the actual Speed an drama, this as ever is great footage!.
