REAL WORLD MISCANTHUS TEST PLOT: Is it better? Can you trust it at northern latitudes?

Years ago I planted 4000 miscanthus rhizomes and ended up with a 90% winter kill rate in northern Minnesota, but Real World Wildlife Products "patented cultivar" of Giant Miscanthus is advertised to be tolerant of winter into southern Canada.
