Geometry dash has one of, if not the best community for a game. It’s the reason it survived for 10 years, and most of the community members are positive too.
Great job on this video! You managed to say something great and positive about all these games despite many negative things some of these games are known for. You also didn't stop to just mention the games by name and year, you tried to find a reason for the popularity of each game. Well done
Poptropica became membership-free when the official servers shut down so there's even more incentive to pick Poptropica back up. That game was my childhood
I've been playing terraria for 11 years and have over 3,,000 hours on it on Steam. I think the most important part in keeping it relevant is its updates. 1.3 and 1.4 were completely game-changing and totally altered the way that Terraria was played. It's a big reason why I still keep coming back to the game today. TModloader is also a big reason because there's a complete subsection of the Terraria community for the Calamity mod. I would also say that it is a creative game despite the video claiming otherwise because I am the creative type of Terraria player. I play with my dad and we have the type of dynamic where I (the art major) like to create fancy buildings and he, a sofware developer, likes to create practical buildings. I also had a big phase where I liked to make pixel art in Terraria because Terraria is a much more pristine looking game than Minecraft and offers so many more options like different blocks, paints, and furniture. I have yet to find a game that can replicate the feeling of playing Terraria.
you forgot about doom (1993), halflife (1998), runescape (2001), eve online (2003) and tf2 (2007). roblox was in beta in 2005 and had active players, and minecraft was actually launched in 2009 people were playing it as far back as may 2009.

For ROBLOX is was a really nice friendly ppl back in 2016-2019 but then now it’s full of toxicity ppl on popular games. This game was blew up for a lot of players to play that game. When you’re new to the game then played a game and chat someone they kinda ignore you which will have that experience in Roblox. Whenever hackers or scamming get banned they will keep making some alt accounts to like to keep “hacking” flying” “scamming” of that. For a like when your roblox account give you the worst moderators to make you banned for no reasons or like stealing your robux which is cost “real money” when you get banned for that because they want make money for the game. Also Roblox makes some weird community a bit but there should be an impossibility to fix that problem.
True Sakurai did say they knew about it but ppl still widely refer to it as a glitch. It's not but it's just a figure of speech, even most melee players themselves still call it a glitch in casual conversation
