10 to 20 k for security should do if at all you want to take otherwise less than that also will work. They provide you 1000 riyal upon arrival at doha and all basic essentials like accommodation, utensils, bedding all will be ready waiting for you as they are provided so not much expense apart from your grocery. SBI master or visa with international transaction activation( ask your bank to activate before you leave or you can also do it via online banking) will work.

Heyy don't worry.. they send rejection mail within two to three days of you sending the scar picture.
I had the same worry because I didn't received any mail from Qatar Airways after mailing them my scar pictures... for me it took 64 days to receive medical mail. So it'll be alright you'll also receive your medical mail soon :)
