A lot of songs sound translated, and it always feel odd and I can never get too into them. This, doesn't suffer that too much, but the original was too hard to top so this is a B version to an A+ song, in my opinion.
When I heard this for the first time after beating the game in roll I thought it was absolutely horrible. However after hearing it on youtube its not as bad as I imagined, however the orginal Japanese version is better, and I would argue that the English version of the TvC opening is also better than this.
the one problem i have with this is that roll is a little girl and this is clearly a grown womans voice. im glad they didnt go with a squeaky mouse voice but this just doesnt seem to fit. its still good though

Pretty sick that they redid the entire track for the English lyrics instead of just throwing them on top of the JP instrumentals.
Shows good attention to detail. Certain instrumentals sound better with certain voices.

I don't blame Capcom for changing it. I'm much more upset at the lack of character themes, but licensing can be a bitch.
One of the reasons why we never got this game remastered or re-released. Tatsunoko Licenses don't come cheap.
