You went too fast and never kept the camera on the label, but for anyone wanting to replace the LCD display panel, the manufacturer is "BOE" and the model # is N156FHM-N4J.
I want to disassemble my one so bad, but it’s actually belong to the company, so I am not allowed. It has the same damage - one of the screen mounts is very loose. Which causes troubles opening the laptop. Can it be fixed somehow easy or full disassembly is a must? Looking for your opinion.
Hi, im pretty new to pc stuff, so i dont know if this is a stupid question but if i wanted to change the thermal paste on the laptop, should i remove the battery of the laptop before removing the heatsink or can i just remove the heat sink and change the paste right then and there ?
To perform any repair on the laptop, I would advise disconnecting the battery from the motherboard. If actually battery does not interfere with heataink removal, you do not have to remove it. Make sure to reapply new thermal paste.
I have this same laptop, do you think its possible to change the CPU and get a better one? or is the CPU permanently installed on the motherboard? Please let me know.
Excellant video of replacing parts of the laptop.
