ABC is also known as Ais Batu Campur in Malay, it's "Mixed Ice" dessert, sometimes the local called Ais Kacang too 😍😍😍

Cendol is one of the ingredients in ABC.. it has a few other “fillings” such as cincau, red beans, creamy corn, peanuts etc.. to make it less ‘icy’, u have to stir it for a while, until everything in the bowl mixed.. then u can slurp it while it’s cool.. usually we enjoy eating ABC or Cendol as we chit chat with our friends.. until u find ur dessert bowl is empty..! ❤
You guys are making us miss KL so much! We lived there for about 8 months, and absolutely love it. KL and Malaysia are highly underrated! The people and food are both amazing.
And jackfruit is so freakin' good. One of our favorite fruits..though SE Asian fruit in general is incredible. Can't wait to go back and film there ourselves! ❤

Welcome back to Malaysia. When you're heading north just make sure to have a visit to my hometown Alor Setar the capital city of the state of Kedah. It's the most underrated capital city in Malaysia and is often forgotten by foreigners. Foreigners only think about Penang and Langkawi when heading to the Northern part of Peninsular Malaysia. For your info, Langkawi is actually a part of Kedah even though it's situated beside the state of Perlis. I'm just doing my part as a Kedahan to help promote my hometown and home state to foreigners like you guys. Stay safe and do enjoy your second time here in Malaysia 😷🥰👍💖👍😁😷

That green noodle thing on abc are called cendol. The main ingredient for abc is ice and sweet syrup while cendol using ice, coconut milk, gula melaka with that green noodle. Others add on ingredient are bonus.

ABC is an acronym for Air Batu Campur (ABC), literal translation would be air (water) batu (stone) campur (mix). water + stone is actually ice in malay. so in general, its a mix ice refreshment for malays back in the days. we would mix whatever we can find in the kitchen and make it edible, lol.
I missed you guys, all these delicious food that you are having made me so hungry, It is a long weekend here in Canada It is (Canada Day) so most of the large grocery places are closed and I am invited to a friend's house for dinner, emmm so hungry...your fault, can't wait to see more. the original cendol is just the green bits, shaved ice, coconut milk and palm sugar. Meanwhile, ABC-- Air Batu (ice) Campur (mixed) - is more colorful with a lot more ingredients.

@@ShevandDevcendol mixed with coconut milk and palm sugar while ABC use condensed milk, rose syrup and palm sugar...ABC like a treasure hunt.. you can find many 'treasure' at the bottom.

Interesting! The temperature difference has to be wow! From Everest base camp Trek. Plus! Cold temperatures are not something that Shev and Dev are used to. But, both made it. And have an amazing set of videos about it. I’m still amazed that in 2023; this area is busy with Everest climbers/ trekkers. And there’s no way to get there. Move items there unless on a persons back, or by YAK.

its called ABC because its short for Ais (Ice) Batu (rock = referring to the ice block) Campur = Mix sometimes it says Kacang (generally Peanuts but could refer to other nuts and legumes such as red beans/Adzuki beans = kacang merah ) . By the way we call Mango, Mangga!

ABC means Ais Batu Campur in Malay. Campor= mix. Ais =ice. batu= stone. (ice block) ABC is shaven ice with nuts, jellies, sweet corn, cendol topped with red syrup, palm sugar (gula melaka) and evaporated milk. Cendol is shaven ice, coconut milk and cendol which is made from rice flour and starch flour and pandan juice. Enjoy your re-visit to Malaysia.

Sedikit sedikit (a little bit) is rather formal and a bit of a tongue-twister, we usually say sikit-sikit! If you want to impress the locals say "sedap gila" (very/so delicious) instead of "sangat sedap". Malay is one of the easiest languages to learn, soon you'll get the hang of it.

ABC is ‘air batu campur’ literally means mixed ice. So yeah they put all sorts of condiments with different syrups. Cendol traditionally is just the pandan jelly in sweetened coconut milk. But cendol now has evolved in so many different forms.
