You guys are making us miss KL so much! We lived there for about 8 months, and absolutely love it. KL and Malaysia are highly underrated! The people and food are both amazing. And jackfruit is so freakin' good. One of our favorite fruits..though SE Asian fruit in general is incredible. Can't wait to go back and film there ourselves! ❤
Malaysia is one of my favorite countries. I've spent a lot of time in Penang. I got to know a few neighborhoods pretty well. Let me know if you need some theme ideas for videos; some things that are different than what a lot of the bloggers cover.
Cendol is one of the ingredients in ABC.. it has a few other “fillings” such as cincau, red beans, creamy corn, peanuts etc.. to make it less ‘icy’, u have to stir it for a while, until everything in the bowl mixed.. then u can slurp it while it’s cool.. usually we enjoy eating ABC or Cendol as we chit chat with our friends.. until u find ur dessert bowl is empty..! ❤
Welcome back to Malaysia. When you're heading north just make sure to have a visit to my hometown Alor Setar the capital city of the state of Kedah. It's the most underrated capital city in Malaysia and is often forgotten by foreigners. Foreigners only think about Penang and Langkawi when heading to the Northern part of Peninsular Malaysia. For your info, Langkawi is actually a part of Kedah even though it's situated beside the state of Perlis. I'm just doing my part as a Kedahan to help promote my hometown and home state to foreigners like you guys. Stay safe and do enjoy your second time here in Malaysia 😷🥰👍💖👍😁😷
Malaysians seem like insanely nice people. It's good to see you guys, your positive vibes are so contagious. Craving all the foods displayed. I might move there just to eat all day
Welcome back to our beautifully underrated country ... Country of warm, generous, helpful and hospitable people with of course great food ... Food heaven of d world plus beautiful nature and beaches especially in Sabah, Borneo East Malaysia and witness ( as many described as having ) d best sunset in Malaysia ....
Welcome back guys. Enjoy the continuing adventure. Do consider extensive travels in Malaysia, particularly northern and southern Peninsular Malaysia, also at East Malaysia. The beaches here and there are nice.

Shev & Dev:Congratulations to you guys to heads Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia today’s this new week to releases this remarkable video in great joy from Southeast Asia in July of 2023❤❤❤
Hello again from Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is such an intriguing place to visit because of the way you appreciate the food and the way you describe the locations you have been. I appreciate you sharing your vlog with the world. We hope it will be a successful marketing strategy to bring more visitors to our country. Thank you so much.
That green noodle thing on abc are called cendol. The main ingredient for abc is ice and sweet syrup while cendol using ice, coconut milk, gula melaka with that green noodle. Others add on ingredient are bonus.
its called ABC because its short for Ais (Ice) Batu (rock = referring to the ice block) Campur = Mix sometimes it says Kacang (generally Peanuts but could refer to other nuts and legumes such as red beans/Adzuki beans = kacang merah ) . By the way we call Mango, Mangga!
Glad that you guys spend more time here this round. I hope the other places in Malaysia give y'all lots of fun and memorable experience 😊 Yes, must go to the island. There are beautiful.
Shev & Dev:Congratulations to you guys to heads back again to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia today’s this week in July of 2023❤❤❤I wish you guys safe journeys & good LUCK always in peace 2023❤❤❤
the original cendol is just the green bits, shaved ice, coconut milk and palm sugar. Meanwhile, ABC-- Air Batu (ice) Campur (mixed) - is more colorful with a lot more ingredients.
@@ShevandDevcendol mixed with coconut milk and palm sugar while ABC use condensed milk, rose syrup and palm sugar...ABC like a treasure hunt.. you can find many 'treasure' at the bottom.
Interesting! The temperature difference has to be wow! From Everest base camp Trek. Plus! Cold temperatures are not something that Shev and Dev are used to. But, both made it. And have an amazing set of videos about it. I’m still amazed that in 2023; this area is busy with Everest climbers/ trekkers. And there’s no way to get there. Move items there unless on a persons back, or by YAK.
ABC is an acronym for Air Batu Campur (ABC), literal translation would be air (water) batu (stone) campur (mix). water + stone is actually ice in malay. so in general, its a mix ice refreshment for malays back in the days. we would mix whatever we can find in the kitchen and make it edible, lol.
I missed you guys, all these delicious food that you are having made me so hungry, It is a long weekend here in Canada It is (Canada Day) so most of the large grocery places are closed and I am invited to a friend's house for dinner, emmm so hungry...your fault, can't wait to see more. God bless and be safe :)
Hey Shev & Dev..welcome back again to 🇲🇾 guys ✌🏻🤠 I will go for the Cendol ✔ ♥ to see you guys here again & happy exploring to many more states to have a different beauty of Malaysia. ENJOY!
Welcome to Malaysia ! Our country is underrated by many . Malaysia is so diversify with multi racial. You get all type of different cuisines and culture . Glad we have you both to show the world how beautiful Malaysia is. we're truly Malaysia 🇲🇾 . Love you both 💟
Sedikit sedikit (a little bit) is rather formal and a bit of a tongue-twister, we usually say sikit-sikit! If you want to impress the locals say "sedap gila" (very/so delicious) instead of "sangat sedap". Malay is one of the easiest languages to learn, soon you'll get the hang of it.
ABC means Ais Batu Campur in Malay. Campor= mix. Ais =ice. batu= stone. (ice block) ABC is shaven ice with nuts, jellies, sweet corn, cendol topped with red syrup, palm sugar (gula melaka) and evaporated milk. Cendol is shaven ice, coconut milk and cendol which is made from rice flour and starch flour and pandan juice. Enjoy your re-visit to Malaysia.

Most of shop helpers in Malaysia are come from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand n other countries n most of them don't speak & understand English. But for Malaysia's people english is a second language.
@@ShevandDev yeah, it's much better to speak to locals directly, especially in KL where the pronunciation they use is not the same as we read in the book, ie Saya (me) is pronounced Saye.
Try new Bamboo Hills. It’s near MRT and really nice food pavilions with beautiful landscape. Packed on the weekends and night time. Many local dishes with a twist.
Welcome back! Malay language is quite simple to learn actually. Its almost one-to-one translation to english but usually with reversed arrangement. And the words are all straight forward. And J is always J, not H. :) This time around I hope you will include islands and beaches on the west coast of peninsular, the east coast and also the East Malaysia states. Visit the elephant sanctuary, orang utan and turtle. National park @ taman negara. On food side, try all different type of Nasi Goreng, all types of Mee and also the entire choice of drinks selection at an ordinary Mamak restaurant. Enjoy!!
ABC is ‘air batu campur’ literally means mixed ice. So yeah they put all sorts of condiments with different syrups. Cendol traditionally is just the pandan jelly in sweetened coconut milk. But cendol now has evolved in so many different forms.
Shev & Dev:Welcome back again to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last week since you guys arrives in great joy from Bangkok, Thailand in Southeast Asia July of 2023❤❤❤
I'm sorry, but at 20:22 the lady give wrong explanation. The major difference between cendol and ABC is the use of coconut milk. Cendol is prepared mandatorily using coconut milk, while ABC is simply prepared using any type of syrup. The use of peanuts only to compare between ABC and Ais Kacang (but nowadays it's no longer gives any significant as new generation only know ABC with peanuts) Note: ABC is acronym of Air Batu Campur.
