Obviously the limiting factor here is the traction provided by the tires, some people will say put on all terrain tires but the people that buy this vehicle will not be using it over the type of conditions the older Vitara could cope with, that was a more offroad based vehicle.
It has to apply brakes in order to transfer power to the opposite wheel. With esp off, allgrip doing it more aggresively. It is counter inituative but multiple controlled tests show us that.
Do you go on ice dancing with balerina shoes or with proper ones for ice skating? It's exactly the same. This tires are made for a little bit mud on the road, no more than that. That why City-SUV 😉
In the mud, you need deeply grooved tires. And lots of power. The only way you are going to unload the mud off the tires, if by putting your foot down. So, rev that engine, and it'll go up the hill, there's no other way to dig through mud
First problem are the tires. You don`t have grip from that street tires. Try some AT tires and it will go much better. I use AT tires, from feb-march to okt-nov. In rest good job!
Hi HramePlay, I have seen notification email about your comment on one of my Videos some time ago, but RUclips hide it somehow from me, not able to respond. It is crazy on RUclips with this comments sometimes. Anyway, finally took a pick of your channel. Realy nice test you have done here. Perfectly showing how and when 4x4 modes kicks in. Subscribed you as well.:)
Bro your tires will become slippery after spinning in the mud and filling up the patterns on the tires, you need proper off-road tires that properly bites if you want to do stuff like this
While I really like the Dacia Duster, I opted for a Vitara because the engineering quality is far far better, so it may cost more but there is a reason, the Vitara will still be going strong in many years whereby the Duster will be tatty and need quite a lot of maintenance. I do really like the Duster though, for the price, it's great and it has a huge boot so way more practical than the Vitara. Also, in my country (UK), you can't get the Duster in a torque converter Automatic transmission (or any auto for that matter), another reason I got a Vitara in the end, but yes it costs more.
Suzuki deals very good but this tyre is not good also you cant stop and go with these tires and on this mud and its very steep ! Suzuki can go very good with mud tries change them with bf goodrich mud ones you will see the result..
Very nice video. Your last attempt was cheating - You started the climb on the tarmac, not mud, car obtained some momentum and after that next climbing was easy.
The only think proved to me by this video is that the driver has low skills for getting out of this situation… You do not approach a muddy hill this way, unless you want to prove that Vitara has no capabilities - which is not true. I have driven Suzuki S-Cross Allgrip for 9 years and Suzuki Jimny in offroad for 3 years (MT tyres) and I know a little bit what is about. There is a triangle - the car, the tyres and the driver. In this video the driver was the weak chain part. 😂
If you want to use your Vitara that way, you definitly need proper off road tires! But the car was a great and smart choice from you!
Beautiful car!! Allgrip is awesome!! Thanks for sharing!!

Yes and the ultimate problem is there is no All-Terrain for the dimensions of the vitara's tires (at least not legal in France).
I have Falken AT tyres on my Vitrara (2015 AlLgrip)
If you deflate the tires a little you will improve the grip.
The most important factor in such situations is to turn OFF the ESP system. Otherwise, it applies breaks on the wheels which rotate faster.

stop tortuing your powertrain, use proper crossover mud tires :-)
Exactly I have 2 Grand Vitaras in muddy farm conditions but only one has mud tyres. Big difference.
Lol, I loved the last option. Suddenly the best lol
You should have the appropriate all terrain tyres for those conditions.

No son las llantas adecuadas , el carro se ve que hace su trabajo bien
The street tires dont work in mud
very good information and the test... thanks for sharing.

Are those summer tiers?
You must off the esp allways for climb that kind of surface
there is no lock mode , only auto/sport / snow - lock only works when snow is selected first .......
Off road tires please
Very nice video!
Mad driver how can possible with original tyres

Класс машина ездию на такой.
All seasons tires and problem resolved.

Ahoj, aké priečniky máš na lyzinach na streche?

@@studio4X4 ďakujem!
这种地面公路胎肯定不行,换上AT胎没问题的。
Good test, good performacne. Almost like our Dacia Duster, that is half of that price :)

No it's not.
Not in Slovakia. Cheapest 4x4 Vitara is now 22k, cheapest 4x4 Duster is 19k (diesel). 20.5k if you want petrol.

Great car, bad tires! Hahaha
but great 4x4 system!
@@studio4X4 The 4x4 system works almost as subaru for the fraction of the price, thats right.
Хорошая машина! Резина не та.
Con ese terreno y esas ruedas no hay coche que suba.
wrong tires man, try to eat soup with a fork, same thing you did here
Ce véhicule est un vrai tout terrain. Ce n'est pas un simple 4 roues motrices. Les pneus ne sont pas faits pour ce test.
Wrong tires!
change tires.
go dawn on that slope and u will stick u have no angle of attack
Get a Samurai and simex tires and you'll cross the hell and back.
Take mud tires and try again 😉
Very nice video. Your last attempt was cheating - You started the climb on the tarmac, not mud, car obtained some momentum and after that next climbing was easy.
WTF The wheel is full of mud, you can not going up...
there is a road right next to you
Get good AT tires.
High Heel Boulevard Tank🙄
Ese carro necesita es llantas de barro
Машина - класс, шины - говно. Не для этих дорожных условий.
Man you need better and suitable tires
The tyres are the problem
You don't know how to use it. This obstacle for this car is very easy...
chains... you need chains...
No idea how to drive in mud
So Basically M274 Mule is better than Vitara...

Балбесы надо колесами вправо влево поварачиватт тогда будет сцепление меняется и машина поедет
It seems that you are badly in need to learn how to drive 4WD cars.
God you have the worst tires I’ve ever seen. My 2 Vitaras never failed with proper tires.
Disastrous.
